My music studies began at the age of 9 with classical piano.
Since 1990 I began studying and playing as a keyboards and bass player in many different music's styles bands.

During my music studies I also had the chance to attend several masterclasses in improvisation, music harmony and theory with important musicians as: George Garzone, Bob Brookmeyer, Ayn Inserto, Scott Henderson, Gary Willis, John Stowell, Bob Mintzer, Dave Holland, Kurt Rosenwinkel and more.

Teaching Experience:
Since 1997 I'm teaching in several schools and as a private tutor piano, keyboards, guitar and drums for beginners. Bass guitar and Music Theory for all levels.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is based on analyzing and listening with deep attention at
students' needs and requests, being patient while motivating with positive and neutral critic.

I also responsibly acquire an appropriate teaching material and resources relating to individual students' needs ensuring an up-to-date knowledge and a critical awareness about

Personal Description:
I am a 17-year-old college student and I am taking Maths, Further Maths, English Language and Sociology at A-level. I have a passion for maths and problem solving, which has been with me since early childhood. In my GCSE Exams in the summer of 2019, I achieved a 9 in Maths, an 8 Statistics and a B in further maths AQA certificate 1. As far as Spanish goes, I achieved a 6 at GCSE, and manage to communicate well in Spain. I am happy to meet any potential tutees at the local library and can be flexible with timings. I am happy to do one-off sessions.

Teaching Experience:
Whilst I have no official teaching experience, I helped many of my peers increase their grades for GCSE. I have lots of experience looking after children from the ages of 0-13 as well as an ability to engage people in what I am doing. If you are not enjoying something, it will be more difficult to do well, therefore I think it is important not to allow anyone to get flustered, as well as to understand the importance of short breaks when one begins to lose focus.

Tutoring Approach:
Whilst I have no official teaching experience, I helped many of my peers increase their grades for GCSE. As far as maths goes, it is my belief that whilst repetition is key, it is important to approach each and every topic from different angles. It was only recently that I had to learn all of this content. As somebody who struggles to remember facts, I have many techniques up my sleeve which can help to embed information into long term memory. Often, all a student needs to grasp a concept, is a new person explaining it.

Personal Description:
I am a qualified (CELTA) English Language teacher who has been teaching in Taiwan, Poland and the UK since July 2017.

I have studied Chinese, German and Spanish so I fully understand what it is like to learn a foreign language. I like to keep my classes informative, useful and enjoyable, and I will tailor them to suit you and your needs.

I read and write extensively during my free time, and I aim to encourage others to see the positives in both reading and writing effectively. I also enjoy football, travelling and gardening.

I am dedicated to improving my knowledge and skills, and I pride myself on being a strict and dedicated teacher who encourages every student to reach their full potential.

Teaching Experience:
Since completing my CELTA in 2017, I have taught ages 3-65 from levels A1-C1 in General English classes, but also IELTS, FCE, CAE and PET exam preparation classes. My favourite classes are IELTS and Intermediate levels, but I am comfortable teaching anyone who is willing to learn.

I have always received strong ratings from my students (school / teacher feedback) and often receive emails from previous students, asking me for help or support with their English.

Tutoring Approach:
I aim to teach all skills equally, but can tailor my lessons based on your strengths and weaknesses. I want to help my students develop a wide range of vocabulary and enable them to understand and use every day language, such as ordering in a restaurant or buying a train ticket, discussing the news or giving their opinion on a political situation.

I always include vocabulary and pronunciation work and believe that correction is a vital part of every lesson. I encourage my students to self-correct, especially in writing, and often find that after a few lessons they are able to make progress in this area.

My classes include games (kahoot, board games, cards, hangman...), social media when relevant, BBC / radio programmes and other interesting activities that will help students increase their English skills in a useful way.

Personal Description:
I am a passionate A level further maths student who is keen on supporting others pursuing the same subject area to accelerate their learning. I have a very analytical and calculative mind with a knack for numbers as demonstrated from previous attainments; a grade 9 in GCSE Maths, and A* in A-Level Maths, as well as excelling at numerous maths competitions (such as Intermediate and Senior maths challenges). I have achieved an A* in the Advanced Maths Problem Solving held by Leicester University.
In addition to my numerical skills, I am a Cricket enthusiast/sportsman and guitarist, which has taught me to reach further levels of concentration when solving complex mathematical problems.
Furthermore, I am a current offer holder for Aerospace Engineering, at the University of Bath, which will be a great application of my current skills

My inclination towards tutoring stems from the joy of mentoring my younger sister who came home smiling with a grade 8 at GCSE in Maths.
