Personal Description:
I am a qualified teacher having been awarded a PGCE from the University of Cambridge. I also have a First Class Bachelors degree. I previously taught at Queen's College Preparatory School, London and now teach online for Eton College. I am a member of the professional body for tutors.

I have four young children of my own and enjoy working with children and helping them to become interested in and succeed in school work. All of my children attend UK independent schools and I have extensive experience in this sector.

I have helped students prepare for and succeed in gaining entry to top UK selective schools at 4+, 7+, 11+ and 13+. I have also successfully helped students obtain full academic scholarships to several independent schools as well as helping those secure a place who find exams difficult. All lessons are online via Zoom.

Teaching Experience:
Qualified from the University of Cambridge with a PGCE. I taught for two years at Queen's College Preparatory School, London before starting private tuition. I have been tutoring for 15 years in English, Maths, Science, Reasoning and Interview Skills. Further private tutoring for 4+, 7+, 11+ and 13+ School Entrance Exams, Scholarship Exams, Common Entrance Exams and the ISEB pre-test. I also provide guidance on school selection and have written a guide to the top independent schools in the UK and their admissions processes. It is never too early to start preparation for competitive school entrance exams and many students prepare for several years.

Tutoring Approach:
Tailor made approach for each individual suited to help students get the best grade possible in exams. Homework is given after each lesson and feedback is provided to parents. My students have several online learning tools that they can use. One is very similar to the ISEB pre-test and another is an online reading platform where thousands of books can be read along with comprehension, spelling and vocabulary questions.

I teach online using Zoom and have helped UK and international students prepare for entrance exams to selective schools such as Eton, Harrow, Radley, Wycombe Abbey, Westminster, King's College School, Magdalen, Guildford High School, St Paul's, Downe House, Winchester, Brighton College, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, City of London, Hampton, Concord College, North London Collegiate, The Perse, St Edward's, Charterhouse, Marlborough and Cheltenham Ladies' College. I regularly use WeChat and WhatsApp to communicate with parents that are overseas so I can be easily contacted. I have extensive experience teaching children from all over the world who do not have English as a first language. I have taught children in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, The USA, The UK, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Dubai, The Seychelles and The Maldives.

Personal Description:
Zoom (online, highly recommended) sessions. All online sessions flat fee £30 per session for KS1 , KS2 and KS3 and £35 for A levels (sessions are nominally 50 minutes but usually lasts longer). I do a limited amount of free sessions for students with severe disabilities or families with very low income. I'm perfectly set up for remote sessions with two cameras, two screens and large bandwidth Internet connection. Screen interaction with students makes the session so much more effective and interactive and it's of course a face to face meeting. Tutoring Approach:
I would like my students to understand the logic behind mathematical applications and not just memorise the mechanics of solving exercises. I aim to make Mathematics something interesting, intriguing, useful, challenging and fun. I aim to enable the students to develop a useful tool for them to use throughout their life. My lessons are planned and structured based on the National Curriculum and the respective key stage requirements.
I keep a weekly progress sheet for each student using a rating score to monitor progress and proficiency.

Personal Description:
A 19-years-old ambivert who is relatively smart and currently studying Sport Therapy and Rehabilitation as an undergraduate student at University of Kent, first year. I am a Psychology enthusiast, Human Biology lover, intermediate Karate fighter (though I don't necessarily punch people). I do enjoy teaching and sharing my vast knowledge of anything to do with humans (hence the Psychology and Biology as a favourite!). I did Physical Education, Psychology and Biology during my A Levels time - which I managed to score AAB respectively.

Teaching Experience:
Privately taught some primary school students back at home on a regular basis. They come in to my house and asked for help to do their homework and I would always be happy to help them. When it was near to exam season, I usually gave them revision and some mini pop quizzes to recall what have they been learning. With the help of my Psychology background, I do understand how different people study and learn, thus I usually adapt and tweak my teaching styles to suit these students.

Personal Description:
I am a fully qualified Science Teacher, with a BSc Hons. in Physics and the Post Graduate Certificate in Science Education from York University.
I have more than 8 years experience of teaching pupils 1:1 in Maths and Physics.
I have a patient and enthusiastic style.

I focus on developing pupils' confidence and understanding, modifying the content of each tutorial and my teaching style to suit each student's individual needs, their abilities and progress in the subject.
Covering many examples, practice questions and past papers together, I ensure students consider and understand the examiners requirements and expectations. Using many other revision and exam techniques, I assist candidates to achieve their full potential and improve grades accordingly. Personal Description:
I am a Mum of three grown up children, 2 dogs and a cat. I live in Shanklin but have travelled and worked in many countries.
I enjoy teaching and meeting new people. I love walking in the surrounding countryside and along the beaches. I enjoy reading and cinema and theatre.
