Personal Description:
I am an English teacher with experience of working in a state school and an independent school; I am a Senior Examiner for GSCE English Literature with 16?years experience, and I have been tutoring students continuously for 23 years.

Personal Description:
My name is Rucha and I am currently a year 13 student at a grammar school. I sat my A level exams in summer 2023 in biology, chemistry and mathematics and I am keen to spread knowledge and help students further their understanding in these subjects. Having taught at primary schools as a form of volunteering and also at a tuition centre as a job recently, I know what students struggle with the most and have a good grasp on the best ways to solve these issues. Teaching Experience:
I have previously volunteered to teach primary school children basic maths, reading and comprehension as well as GCSE maths and biology students. I have also had a job at an 11+ tuition centre teaching maths as well.

Tutoring Approach:
My lessons are for those wanting to achieve their highest potential in GCSE maths (foundation or higher). Typically lessons are between 30 mins to 1 hour and I like to use the specification to provide accurate information as well as asking questions along the way to gauge understanding. As somebody who has taught children both while volunteering at primary schools and as a job at a tuition centre, I have gained skills necessary to help my students understand content and have also helped them to enjoy the subject as well. I achieved a 9 in GCSE higher maths in 2021 and am predicted an A* in my A Levels in summer 2023, so have in-depth understanding of content and what students struggle with the most having completed my exams recently as well.
