This study challenges the ideologies of what is defined as beauty throughout art history, sculpture, and figurative representation. It critically analyses the standardised figures and body shape used in art as well as in modern-day commercial advertising, fashion and other types of portraiture.

Ben worked for 3.5 years at an Apple APR shop in Guildford so has a very in-depth knowledge of Apple technology and software and during this time taught people of all ages to use Apple computer something he still tutors to this day in.

I prefer to teach over a 2-hour basis, and this allows for focused study and practical time of guided activity further to this I will travel for a lesson but ask that travel expenses are paid.

I am passionate about teaching and am keen to share my knowledge with others. I have some experience of teaching SEN children within a mainstream setting and have recently completed an online diploma in SEND.

Personal Description:
I have had long and very successful experience of teaching to a variety of qualifications and have always been able to adapt to changes in specification and subject requirements. My results have consistently been excellent.

I have considerable experience of examining and moderating A-level Economics and Business. I was Chief Examiner for a major examining board in A-level Economics for over 20 years and have worked with other examining boards and regulatory authorities. I am an OFQUAL Subject Expert in Economics and Business Studies.

I have been responsible for training many teachers in schools and colleges and at various universities.

I have also published several textbooks, teaching guides and other learning materials for both Economics and Business Studies.

Teaching Experience:
I have 40 years of experience of teaching Business Studies and Economics to O-level, GCSE, A-level, BTEC and degree level.
I have always been an enthusiastic and hard-working teacher and still find teaching fun and very satisfying even after such a long career.

Tutoring Approach:
I am very supportive and aim to make my students more confident and independent so that they can succeed in their examinations or coursework.

Fortnightly sessions are possible where you do work in between for me to mark before the lesson.

When students have specialist teacher(s) at school, college or university the usual way of progressing is for them to work on one or substantial pieces of work. These might be a series of short-answer questions, data response, essays etc. This may be one given to them by their teacher(s) or I can supply assessment materials if needed.

They send me the work a day or to before the lesson so that I can mark it in advance for discussion. There is also often time to discuss one or two topics with which the student is having difficulty.

Students in education usually do one-hour sessions weekly or fortnightly but some students make more or less frequent arrangements.

Although this is the way that most students work, other approaches may be needed depending upon the student's course and requirements. I aim to be as flexible as is necessary to ensure a student's progress.

I am an articulate and enthusiastic who has a desire to help others get on in my field and contribute to its growth. I am a graduate from the University of Liverpool and curreny studying for my Masters in Greek and Roman History at the University of Oxford.

Teaching Experience:
I have tutored individuals on a casual basis and provided proof-reading services to friends and peers on a volunatarily basis.

Tutoring Approach:
I will work to see what is at the root of any difficulty which my student has, since, in my experience, a misunderstanding of some basic and fundamental issues can cause greater issued further down the line. I will tailor lessons to the student's particular needs, utilising materials which the student themselves have had experience with using.

I am a friendly, passionate and enthusiastic French Tutor. I like to assess each client's individual needs and then tailor the sessions to achieve them. I like to make the learning interactive and fun and I am a very patient tutor.

Teaching Experience:
I have successfully tutored French for the past 16 years. I have extensive experience with students looking to improve their GCSE and A Level grades, adult learners either seeking to gain conversational French or who require a deeper understanding of the language and primary age children who are learning French for the first time.

Tutoring Approach:
I like to assess each individual client's needs and tailor the learning to achieve their goals. I use a variety of learning material and I like to positively encourage clients in their lesson in order to improve their confidence and understanding. Additionally I always have a calm approach to my lessons, so that clients can maximise their learning, without feeling under pressure. I also like the sessions to be fun.
