| Personal Description: I have been teaching maths for over 40 years. I taught wealthy and high achieving private students in London for much of that time, where I was always very busy and it was quite usual to be teaching "A" levels or International Baccaleureate to the sons and daughters of extremely wealthy foreign nationals, business people, and politicians. Owing to my London teaching over many years, it is quite possible that, in terms of hours worked, I am the most experienced private tutor of GCSE and "A" level maths in the UK. |
Teaching Experience: Please see the above. GCSE maths, "A" level maths, pure, mechanics and statistics, and some degree level are all covered. I can also help with statistics coursework. Students doing courseworks for university can be helped across the Internet. |
Tutoring Approach: I show the students the best techniques, the most efficient, easy to understand, and easy to remember ways to answer questions. Although I would like to tell students whether or not I think they are going to pass, or get the grade they require, I am mindful of the fact that one often gets it wrong. |

| Personal Description: Luke has a BA (hons) in Biblical Studies and Theology and has been reading and studying the works of the Early Church Fathers for over five years, and has recently published a book detailing the early church, "40 Days with the Father" (available on Amazon). After being involved in various short-term missions to South Africa, he currently lives in Devon, England, where he co-founded a web development software company, with his dad, Kevin. When not working, Luke writes frequently on his theological blog, That Ancient Faith, or spends time with his wife Lucy and his new daughter, Amelia. |
Teaching Experience: Although I've not taught in a 'formal' setting, I have been involved with, and lead, various small groups through different churches over the years, as well as being a youth leader and the occasional preaching/teaching. |
Tutoring Approach: I am quite laid back and easy-going, and understand that different people sometimes require different approaches to learning, so I'm open and flexible in that regards. I do like detail and data, so I am very thorough with my researching on topics. |

| Personal Description: Hi, my name is Beeta. I have just finished my first year of university in France where i study Political Sciences at SciencesPo. Here I study many subjects ranging from European History, to Maths, to Sociology. Before this I completed my A levels and GCSEs in England. I studied Biology, Maths, Chemistry and English Literature in a sixth form grammar school. And before that I completed my GCSEs with all A*'s, 9s and 8s. In my spare time I enjoy debating, writing articles, and painting. |
Teaching Experience: During the two years of sixth forms I taught English and maths to children between years 1 to 6 of Primary School at MagiKats tuition. At the same time I provided private tuition to secondary school students for maths, English, and the sciences. As well as this, during sixth form, I was a debate mentor for primary school children with DebateMate. |
Tutoring Approach: I believe that ever person has a unique way of learning and the educational system naturally cannot be tailored to all. Therefore tuition is the only chance to receive education in the style best suited to you and about the things you most struggle with. I therefore dedicate some time at the start of each class overviewing the student's goals and at the end of each class ask for feedback on what they would like to be different. This way, the student can set long term goals and make the most out of each session. |

| Personal Description: I am an experienced teacher and home tutor, able to offer all three sciences to A level and Maths to GCSE/Additional. I am happy to provide references from amongst the many parents of past students who have agreed to this. |
Teaching Experience: I have taught biology and the other sciences in independent secondary schools for many years, and have tutored these subjects and maths, also for many years. |
Tutoring Approach: Generally speaking, my approach to tutoring is to find out from the student, either directly or through trying out questions, which topics they are finding tricky, or hard to remember, and to go through the important elements with the student. I tend to ask questions as we go, and write down, for the student`s future reference, aids to memory and vital points which are essential for understanding the topic. I routinely bring to a tuition my set of revision guides which contains up-to-date syllabus information from all of the well-known exam boards. |

| Personal Description: Hey, I'm Phoebe (some people call me Flea) I'm a 26 year old interdisciplinary artist from South Wales. I work mainly with creative writing, painting and sculpture. I have a first class BA in Fine Art and I believe that confidence and creativity are tools to anyone living a more well-rounded life, and figuring out who they really are or want to become. My practise is holistic and intuitive, using whatever materials that express me ideas |
Teaching Experience: I have run art workshops both with adults and children, I volunteer at an Arts centre to run art workshops with primary school children surrounding different techniques and art mediums. I also have some experience teaching experimental approaches to writing and sound work. I have transferable experience in printing, design, book binding, painting, drawing, performance, editing and film, sculpture, textile. |
Tutoring Approach: My approach to tutoring is more broad and wellbeing based. I am able to share my material knowledge, but focus more on what the creative task may give my students confidence and esteem.
