Personal Description:
I am Scottish but have just recently returned from Greece. I have a lot of experience teaching English which I enjoy doing very much. I have CELTA qualification and a degree in English language and Literature. I am a very patient and considerate person which is reflected in my teaching.

Teaching Experience:
I have 14 years private tutoring experience in Greece. I also have 7 years experience of British summer school teaching. I feel my experience has given me a good insight into the needs and problems of the language learner. I have worked with every age group between 5 to adult and have prepared students for the Cambridge first certificate exam. I have experience from absolute beginners to proficiency level and feel my patience and understanding make me a good tutor.

Tutoring Approach:
I would firstly find out the student's needs and preferences then work on this. I feel with young learners a fun approach involving games and songs is beneficial. With adults a lot of self learning is appropriate with a lot of conversation and focus and revision of grammar and vocabulary points where necessary. I give homework after each session and work on the results of this on the next lesson as I feel a progression on work is the most beneficial to the student.

Personal Description:
I have done my Masters in Business from Leeds Metropolitan University and BSC in Mathematics from Calcutta University.I have two years of experience of giving tuitions to students. I choose Mathematics and Business not only for my qualification and working experience but also because i do enjoy those subject.

I am a qualified teacher from Thessaloniki, Greece. I am a graduate of the Hellenic American Union (Department of Translation and Linguistics). Personal Description:
I am a Leeds-based History teacher and tutor. I enjoy reading, watching films and socialising with friends. I am a very organised and committed individual and aim to provide the most professional experience for all of my students.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching History at key stage 3 ,GCSE and A-level for 5 years. I graduated my degree with a first in History and adapt this knowledge to challenge the students that I teach. Personal Description:
I recently graduated (last year) with a degree in PPE from Oxford University. I'm currently tax resident in the UK but stay between the UK and visits to my mother in Ireland and time spent in Germany since my fiance's family is in Germany.

Teaching Experience:
With five years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about helping students unlock their full potential by breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable parts. This approach not only deepens their understanding but also builds confidence and equips them with the skills to apply their knowledge effectively in exams, interviews, and admissions tests.
My proudest moment was helping a student go from an E/U borderline in his first A' level Maths mock to an A* in his final grade. More recently, I've helped an Economics GCSE student go from scoring grade 3s to grade 7s in his school tests.
My own education background includes finishing school with A*A*A*A grades in A' level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry respectively. Having obtained 100% standardised marks in Maths and Further Maths, I initially started tutoring maths alongside a bit of GCSE science. Studying PPE at Oxford University, I have since widened the subjects I offer.
My experience includes designing and running courses with the Institute of Economic Affairs and Oxford summer schools. I've also worked through a travelling contract with the British School of Monaco to support an elite sportsman with his studies. Most recently, I run a free webinar programme for state school students to close information gaps about what Oxbridge admissions tutors are looking for.
