I am an Open University graduate with a 2.1 Honours degree in Computing, Science, and Mathematics. I have taught Computer Aided Design and Engineering Mathematics at my local college. Painting and exhibiting for over 15 years professionally, specialising in oil & acrylic portraiture, landscape and abstract subject matter, My paintings foundation is from a hyper-realistic background, a portrait style which I studied and explored during and after my university education, while in recent years expanding to expressive mark making and more ambitious subject matter.

I would encourage students studying for grades to follow certain assessment checkpoints which would be revolved around contextual and method referencing, self reflection, experimentation and consolidation.
