Personal Description:
I have tutored many people for GCSE and A level exams. I have a relaxed approach but expect set homework to be done! I have a good sense of humour and am usually very popular with the people I tutor or teach.

Teaching Experience:

I have 30 years teaching experience in Scorland, England (mostly Birmingham) and abroad - everywhere from Cairo to Shanghai! I usually get excellent exam results from students if they are willing to put in the required time and work. I am en ex-head of Physics, Science and Maths.

Tutoring Approach:

In tutoring for examinations I use a topic based approach with most of the questions coming from past papers although initially a few are from textbooks. My aim is to get students thoroughly familiar with then syllabus, the types of questions which turn up and the common things that examiners look for in order to give marks.
