I am originally from Ayrshire but have spent the last eight years south of the border studying and working. I have worked as an actor, singer and songwriter and continue to do so whilst teaching. I have now moved back to Ayrshire to live and work and continue to be creative.

I am 20 years old, I'm a native speaker of french. I moved over to France at the slender age of 12 and I lived there for 7 years, I have taken my french equivalent GCSE's and A-level's in France. I have been a classroom music teacher for over 25 years - 23 of them as a highly successful head of department at Bradfield Secondary School in Sheffield. I have taught GCSE and A Level music, and my students have consistently achieved well above the national average. I have also organised a large number of concerts, shows, and festivals. I was Classic FM's inaugural Music Teacher of the Year in 1999.

I have an inclusive approach to music education, encouraging all students, regardless of ability, to fulfil their potential.
