Information About Caspar:


Personal Description:

I am a writer, artist and researcher based in London. I graduated from the University of Oxford with a first-class degree in History of Art and recently finished my masters at the Bartlett School of Architecture UCL for a master's in art and architecture. My academic and practice-based interests have always involved art, literature, and performance, which materialised in my BA thesis on the choreographer Trisha Brown. Previously, while at Reigate Grammar School, I received four A* s in my A Levels in Art, Drama, Maths and Physics, and attained all 9s in my GCSEs, including an A* in Further Maths.



Teaching Experience:

I have over two years experience tutoring students for GCSE and A Level English, Maths, History and the sciences. I have also worked for Oxford Tutors and have helped numerous students each year get in to Oxford and Cambridge for Art History and Fine Art. I have also helped students currently in university with essay writing and critical thinking.



Tutoring Approach:

I am hoping to share the advice, techniques, and skills that have helped me succeed with other students who are striving for academic excellence. My teaching looks beyond treating learning as a test of memory but provides my students with the belief and confidence to gain their own intellectual and creative independence in whatever subject they do.
