I started tutoring in 2009 and have been an associate lecturer in Earth Sciences with the Open University since 2014. I live in South Wales with my daughter and our pet cat. Besides study and work, I enjoy walking, keeping fit and photography. I left school with one A* grade, six A grades and four B's. A's being in English, Biology and Geography. I was also a prefect in school chosen for my level of drive.

During sixth form I was a student mentor where I helped GCSE students with their upcoming exams and acted as a person of support and welfare. I studied law achieving an A*, sociology achieving an A and psychology achieving a B grade.

I'm currently a third year psychology student at the University of Birmingham. During my time at university I have gained an in depth background knowledge in psychology including child and educational psychology. I hope to start a career in child psychology because I love interacting with children. I hold a PhD Degree in Geology, MSc. in Applied Environmental Geology and BSc. Geology (First-Class Honours). I have studied both in in Kenya and in the UK and I have developed great skills as an academic writer and an independent consultant in my field.

It is important that the principles are understand because all else flows from this.
