I am a practising Chartered Management Accountant with over 15 years UK experience in Accountancy, Tax and Business Management. I have wide experience in teaching and training junior accountants and able to understand the individual learning needs and offer additional supports accordingly.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching and training junior accountants for over 10 years and also teaching Accountancy and Tax on part time basis at University of Suffolk Bury St Edmunds .

Tutoring Approach:
I will assess the individual learning requirement and work on them and assess the learning outcome in regular intervals. This will enable to identify where additional support is required and develop strategies to improve the overall learning process.

Also, While I have the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, I taught adults English as a foreign language for mainly Greek speakers. I helped professionals improve their Business English in terms of speaking and writing.

I worked as an accountant for 14 years, before making the decision to train as a secondary teacher (Business Education).

I have experience of working in one of the big 4 Accounting firms as well as industry as a qualified Accountant. Tutoring comes natural to me,with years of experience under my belt . I have done classroom teaching of A level students on a part time basis where i taught Accounting, i have also done one on one tutoring for subjects like Maths , English at primary level. I have experience teaching students from primary level from year 4 to year 11 up to A level as well as professional level. I also provide learning for Accounting professionals doing AAT, degree and CIMA

Growing up my parents were both in the teaching field and i acquired skills of learning and how to share knowledge with others. I endeavour to deliver the best and create a comfortable learning environment for my students. I am a full qualified Business Studies teacher, and I have taught GCSE and A Level Business, Finance, and Accounting in 6th form Schools and colleges in London for 8 years. I have also experience in teaching GCSE Economics as well as BTEC Business (New Syllabus) I have a great passion to teach and I have a very good track record of my previous students who achieved good results. I also have worked with special needs students with different learning disabilities including Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD.

My approach to Tutoring is one on one, each student is unique, with different learning abilities, and prefer different learning styles. There is no one size fits all lesson. One on one is beneficial to students, as a tutor I will have to continually assess each one academically and tailor my lessons to their particular needs. This way each child is able to achieve their full potential.

Small groups tutoring does work in certain situations where students are friends and prefer to learn together as they motivate and learn form each other especially in times of revision. My approach to tutoring will mostly depends on the individual's needs.
