I am a mature lady (60yo) with a 1st Class Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree (B.Sc) and a Postgraduate Management qualification from Cambridge University. My own 'A' Levels were Biology, Maths and Physics with a particular focus on electronics. At University I studied Maths at degree level.

After working as an Engineer I changed career in my late 20s and moved into the world of Therapy and Healing. I trained in hypnotherapy and craniosacral therapy as well as Human Design. I have worked with young people utilising various modalities to help them gain confidence and choose careers/subjects that bring out the best in them. I studied for a time in a Rudolph Steiner environment so I appreciate the value of alternative approaches and Artistic therapies to educating young people. Working in research and teaching at several UK universities, I served as Head of Science and Academic Partnerships, where I led curriculum design, academic strategy, and cross-institutional collaborations. I'm a retired academic in psychology and education with over 25 years experience teaching and supporting students in HE on undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in the UK and internationally.

Specialism in psychology, particularly child development, cognitive development, psychology in education, language and communication, child health, research methods and stats, SEND, inclusion, emotional health and wellbeing.
