Personal Description:
I am 55 a mum and grandmother
I have over 25 yrs experience working in SEN in schools and colleges and community and residential care
SEN / EBD/ ASC / complex needs
And also with pupils excluded from mainstream
I currently am registered with teaching agencies and have recent / current experience of working in schools
As a LSA / TA / 1.1 and mentor and Keyworker
I also hold a teaching qualification post 16/ life long learning
And a degree and Diphe in health and social care and health studies and qualifications in inclusion and Autism
Teaching Experience:
I have taught in a post 16 SEN college
With young people 16/25
With Autism and complex needs and challenging behaviour
I have taught skills for life / keeping safe / Food and nutrition and functional skills
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is to adapt each session to the individual learners needs
And to be calm and friendly and to make the session calm and stress-free and enjoyable for the learner
