My teaching method focuses on providing a comfortable environment for my students to learn in. I aim to provide various means to get my point across to students, whether it is graphically, exercises or past exam questions, this provides a wider scope of understanding for the student. I am also very interested to know what the topics are being studied at school or University, and support this with exercises and more challenging questions in my lessons. My name is Kierri & I've been a professional tutor for the last 15 years. I genuinely love to learn and believe I learn as much from my students, as they do from me. I'm a writer & a poet & though young people don't always favour these topics, I believe my passion for English, really inspires and motivates students and if they don't catch the inspiration for learning, their grades naturally raise as they go along. I am a dedicated and passionate teacher currently working with primary 1/2 students, and I have had experience working with children of all ages. I am GTC registered and have an PVG to work with children. Outside of the classroom, I have been involved in Girl Guiding and have had various opportunities to engage with children in different school settings.
