Personal Description:

I am a qualified Secondary Psychology Teacher (QTS, 2024) with a strong academic foundation and a genuine passion for helping learners grow in confidence and independence.
Alongside my school-based teaching, I have built a successful online tutoring practice supporting GCSE, A‑Level and undergraduate students in Psychology, Sociology and Criminology.
My background includes SEND-informed practice, particularly supporting learners with autism, ADHD and anxiety, which has shaped my calm, patient and highly structured approach.
I am currently completing an MA in Education, which strengthens my evidence-based teaching methods and keeps my practice aligned with the latest research in learning, cognition and inclusive pedagogy.

I begin by identifying the student's current level, strengths and gaps, then build a tailored plan that focuses on both knowledge and exam performance.
I break down complex theories into manageable steps, use real‑world examples to deepen understanding, and model high‑mark answers so students know exactly what examiners look for.
Sessions are interactive and paced to the learner's needs, with a strong emphasis on active recall, spaced practice and exam‑technique coaching.
For SEND learners, I adapt explanations, materials and session structure to ensure accessibility and reduce cognitive load.
Above all, I aim to create a positive, motivating environment where students feel capable, supported and equipped to achieve their goals.
