I currently lecture at the University of Salford and have over 28 years of teaching experience. As the student develops, the structure can be adapted accordingly.

I am an Open University graduate having completed an BA(Hons) degree. I chose my own programme of study which consisted of French,English Language Studies with GCSE/Standard grade Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. I have a wealth of knowledge with the KS1&2 curriculum and have extensive experience preparing children for year 6 SATs. In addition, I have worked as a KS2 examiner, to mark SATs papers, giving me valuable insight into assessment expectations and standards.

Personal Description:
I am a primary teacher who was born in India, spent a few years in Malaysia, grew up in Australia and now live and teach in the UK. I understand people and children from different backgrounds, cultures and needs and love to meet new people. I am a mother to a young toddler as well.
I love reading now though this was not always the case when I was younger! I think this gives me a unique perspective on understanding and encouraging a love for reading amongst young children. I enjoy puzzles and quizzes which leans into my strength of logical reasoning.
