I am convinced that one-to-one tuition is by far the most efficient way in which a person can progress and gain confidence. Often someone can grasp a topic in 5 minutes of one-to-one that would have taken 2 hours to cover with a larger group. Once you are confident with a topic, we move on rapidly to the next one. A current A level tutee of mine told his father "I learnt more in that 2 hour session than I have all term at school" and his headteacher wrote to congratulate him on his improved grades. I am an experienced tutor, proof reader and trainee teacher. Academically, I received my degree from the University of Birmingham (BSc Environmental Science) in 2013 achieving a 2.1 classification. In 2014-15 I studied MSc Surveying and Land Environmental Management at the University of Exeter (Penryn campus).

I volunteered to teach illiterate students English as a part of a volunteering program from my high school in India and have been a part of that program for the past two years. Geography is relatively straightforward subject. A lot of practice and a dedicated perusal of it should be enough to get good scores. While it can be relatively dry, it can be made interesting with pictures and videos.I focus on exam technique, past papers as well as text work (English Lit.)
