I then take these away and mark them in my own time and return with a deeper view of where they are going wrong after they have been taught. As a recently retired Chartered Engineer I'm looking to help students to improve, and gain confidence in, their maths or science skills. This might be helping with subjects that the student finds difficult, catching up with missed work, assisting with coursework, or stretching a budding genius

Teaching Experience:
I have been providing personal tuition to students for about 10 years. I only take on a couple of students at a time so that I can spend enough time with them. Most of my students have come to me through word of mouth.

Tutoring Approach:
Try to understand what the student finds difficult and focus on the big issues.
