In July 2013, I graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London, undertaking a BMus (Hons) Music degree (2.1) with a principle study in singing (1st). I took two gap years before going to university to gain experience in the music and drama fields. I have studied modules at university ranging from Bach to Beethoven and Sibelius to Weill.

Teaching Experience:
In my two gap years I was a gap student at Bedales Schools for a term and then was invited back to cover a member of music staff. Responsibilities included teaching 8-13 year old mixed pupils classroom music as well as supervising music practices. I also tutored pupils through grade 5 theory achieving merit and distinction grades.

Tutoring Approach:
I have a very laid-back attitude to teaching and will teach you in similar ways that I have been taught. I understand totally that some pupils need several ways of explaining things so bring a variety of teaching methods to my lessons. I make teaching interesting and engaging and always try to relate the subject to the pupil. Tutoring Approach:
I prefer the richness of residential tuition, since cultural immersion can lead to deeper relationships and a more holistic grasp of the culture behind the language. Nevertheless I have also a wide experience in one-to-one teaching in daily or weekly sessions. I quickly adapt my material to the ability and requirements of the pupil, making use of visual aids, games, cuttings tape recordings and other kinaesthetic tools to make lessons more interesting, and often draw on a wide range of personal stories from across the world to illustrate the material. I am a former secondary school teacher who thoroughly enjoys tutoring both French and Spanish to a wide range of ages and abilities, from beginner right through to GCSE. My belief is that languages are for everyone. I am also a mum to three children so I understand that flexibility is important is important to my tutees and their parents.

My name is Rajindel. I am a fully qualified ESOL and RE secondary teacher. I have been in education for over 15 years. I have experience with different ages and my passion is teaching ESOL to any learner who requires help and support with the English language. I can teach IELTS English, ESOL courses to adults and children, Cambridge First Certificate, Functional Skills English, English at primary and secondary level which is KS1, 2 and 3 and I also teach general English to improve ones language.
My teaching method is initially teacher centred then predominantly student centred. Teaching methods can include paper based tasks, use of a tablet for English games, puzzles and listening tasks, question and answer tasks and having a natural conversation with the student is the best way to improve a students natural fluency.
My teaching methodology would depend on the individual student and what they need. I would adapt my teaching methods to suit the needs of any student.

I have got masses of experience. I have been teaching and giving private lessons in ESOL and EAL for over 15 years. I have taught a wide range of learners from young children to adults. I have taught students as young as 7 years up to students in their 50's.
I taught in Hungary in Eastern Europe for 2 and a half years, whilst there I taught a number of private students English. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching abroad as my skills were enhanced.
I have taught students and have experience of working in secondary schools, colleges and adult centres. I obtained very good results whilst teacher ESOL and students achieved their E2, E3 and Level 1 results bar a few exceptions. Hi, my name is Imi, and I am in my 5th year of Dentistry at the University of Bristol. I am looking to tutor in Chemistry and Biology up to A-level and below, having taken Chemistry, Biology and Economics at A-level myself and achieved 3 A*'s. In addition to this, I also completed my Extended Project Qualification based on dentistry, drawing on my scientific background, in which I achieved an A*. At GCSE level, I achieved all 9's and took all 3 sciences, Maths, English, German, Geography, Religious Studies and Latin.

Teaching Experience:
At secondary school, I was a Peer Mentor for 2 GCSE students in Biology and Chemistry. We met weekly in the build up to their exams and went over topics they struggled with and I brought some of my own materials along to test their knowledge after we had discussed their mistakes. I learnt a great deal about different teaching styles from both students and how to be adaptable when the topic of discussion changed quickly. Additionally, for 2 years every week, I volunteered to teach disabled children how to swim at my local pool. This was a wonderful experience and developed my communication skills immensely as I had to cater to a wide range of disabilities. Therefore, I believe I am very patient and flexible with my approach to teaching.

Tutoring Approach:
I feel passionately about making all of my tutoring sessions interactive, enjoyable and targeted to the individual student. I endeavour to make all of my tutees feel relaxed with me from the start, so that there's a comfortable environment, where they know that all their questions are valid and can be asked without judgement. I believe it is important to frequently recap content in order to identify areas of weakness in my tutee's knowledge and I plan to do this with recap quizzes/discussions at the beginning of each session. Personally, I also greatly benefitted from making up mnemonics and sketching diagrams when covering challenging content and so I would aim to do this with my tutee too. However, I would see what mix of methods work best for each student.
