My first step is always to assess exactly where my student is at so that I can plan the content for sessions accordingly and make sure that they get the best out of each lesson. If there are any gaps in the foundations of their knowledge we can then attack these head on. My approach is thus very organised and tailored to the specific needs of the student, with small goals set per session alongside a long term goal to work towards. I always ensure that my lessons are engaging, and work towards building a good relationship with my students, encouraging them to ask questions without any hesitation. I adapt my approach depending on my students' learning style as I feel this is the key to successful teaching.

At GCSE and A Level, my aim is always to make sure that students are completely familiar with the subject specification and assessment objectives as this dictates exactly where they can pick up most marks. Completing as many past papers as possible is also a step in the right direction, alongside completing assignments set by myself. My approach for students studying Psychology at degree level depends on what is required. Most students require guidance with essays, reports, dissertations and write ups; I usually go through the assignment with the student giving valuable, detailed feedback on what can be improved and exactly how they can go about doing so. I currently lecture at the University of Salford and have over 28 years of teaching experience. I'm a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Visiting Lecturer at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, and also teach in São Paulo, Brazil. Hey I'm Abdul. I'm currently studying Computer Science at the University of Leeds. I passed my 11+ and attended Wilson's School and I absolutely loved my time there. When studying for my GCSE's, I struggled quite a lot with Chemistry and so I decided to get a tutor. After a few months of receiving tuition, there was a noticeable improvement in my grades and I achieved a grade 9 in Chemistry GCSE and later on studied it for A-level and achieved a grade A. I was very thankful to my tutors and teachers as I could not have done well in my studies without them.

During my time at sixth form, I volunteered to tutor GCSE students in my school. I later on taught some students outside of school for 1 year and it allowed me to build a long term relationship with my students and be able to actually see improvements in their grades and confidence in that subject. I have done Bachelor of Science, Masters in Chemistry and having vast experience of teaching students of different grades in schools, colleges and University college as well.
I gave 100% merit result in previous exams.
I have published a research paper related to biochemistry and reactions and currently I am updating myself with new knowledge and information.

Tutoring Approach:
I use different approaches that should be firstly student centred.
I will use online platform, white board, quizes, videos in my lessons and every minute detail related to the topic covered. I will also provide enough time to the student for his knowledge check before explaining the topic.
Different types of tests and techniques will be used throughout the course.
