Personal Description:

I've been working as a maths and science tutor since 2016.
Prior to my work as a tutor I worked as a science technician for three years in various schools and colleges in London. And prior to that I worked for three years as a research and teaching assistant at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
I graduated from Queen`s University Belfast in 2010 with a 1st MSci in Physics with Astrophysics.

Teaching Experience:

Friendly approachable tuition in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths (including mechanics and statistics). I tutor in-person in the Glasgow area, and online for students further afield.

I have a degree in Physics so I can also help university students with their maths/physics/engineering modules. I also provide support with the UCAT, BMAT, and Oxbridge Maths and Physics entrance exams.

Tutoring Approach:

No AI gimmicks or short-cuts, just ten years of tutoring experience: one-to-one communication, tailoring the lesson to the student, and giving them the confidence they need to succeed. I'm experienced in tutoring all ages and abilities, including students with SEND and neurodiversities.

I'm based in Scotland, so the majority of my students are Nat 5, Higher, or Advanced Higher. However, I also provide tuition in the GCSE/A-Level system used in the rest of the UK.
