I realised I had a flare for imparting knowledge when I became a basketball trainer at 15, working with Primary and Secondary pupils. I have extensive expertise in linguistics, and expert knowledge of the English language, grammar and literature. I studied the Bachelor's (Hons) degree in English Language and English Literature, and French language and Italian language at university.
I have a wide range of skills: verbal and written communication skills; keen listener; empathetic; open-minded; respectful of people's personalities, needs and requirements; and excellent analytical skills.
Some of my achievements having worked as a teacher include:

I provide students with different resources to work autonomously: questionnaires, photo cards, mats, sentence builders, surveys, etc.
I like leading students to be active learners by being in charge of their own learning experience, self-evaluation and improvement; and take the necessary steps to achieve the required targets and goals, and thrive on their courses.
I encourage students to be resilient, autonomous, committed and involved in the lessons, and participate actively.
I promote self-confidence throughout the lessons.

Teaching Experience:
I have been Modern Languages teacher for 16 years and I am dedicated to sharing my passion for Spanish, Italian and French with my students. I love tutoring as I can tailor sessions to meet the needs of each learner. I have a had a lot of success in the past with learners of all ages as I have taught from nursery age to adult learners. I am also an SQA marker for Higher and Advanced Higher Spanish and bring all of I have learned from this experience to support my students.
