Hello my name is Anne-Marie, I am from Ireland but have been living in the UK since 2004. This is now a place I call home. I realised I had a flare for imparting knowledge when I became a basketball trainer at 15, working with Primary and Secondary pupils. Student and tutor have to be very focused, and we need to have the lesson planned carefully to make sure we have access to documents, so no time is wasted finding materials or deciding what to do. I also set homework if parents want this, and it does help to maximise the lesson time.

Teaching Experience:
After my degree in French and Spanish, and PGCE, I went on to teach in a secondary school. After this I started out as a private tutor, working with students from a range of backgrounds and Amis. I have taught both French and Spanish from lower secondary to A Level, including board era and overseas students.

I know the different syllabuses extremely well fue to the range of students l have.

I'm currently working as a Spanish Teaching Assistant in the UK. My goal is to create a comfortable and relaxed environment where students feel confident practicing their speaking skills and improving their pronunciation.

Hello! I have been teaching for over 20 years and love what I do! As well as teaching whole classes I enjoy working one on one with pupils. Tutoring can rapidly improve progress and I love seeing the impact I can have on individual pupils.

I love travelling, running, reading, foreign cinema and yoga. I have two children who also keep me busy!

I have worked as a head of department and have had different roles in schools. I have also tutored for different aged children and up to A Level for French.

Tutoring Approach:
I tailor my lessons to individual pupil needs and spend a lot of time retrieving key knowledge so that pupils know things well. I think it's important to work on areas pupils are less confident on from class. At GCSE I do lots of exam practise as well as grammar and speaking. Tutoring sessions can rapidly improve progress and build confidence that pupils can then take back to the classroom.
