I am an experienced and skilled Tutor of French, Russian and English as a foreign language. I have been tutoring continuously on a part time basis for 12 years, typically working with 5 or 6 students at any one time. I have spent several years living and working abroad, so this has given me quite an international outlook. I usually teach a student once per week, but if it is necessary, I am willing to top it up by teaching the same student twice a week even. I also offer the first lesson at half price as a an introductory lesson.
My lessons usually last an hour, but I am also happy to top it up to two hours, with a 5-10 minute break, upon request.
Any cancellations or changing of schedules should be noted within 24 hours at least.
I am also more than happy to teach more than one student at the same time within a "classroom style setting" online, given that the students are doing the same subject at a more or less equal level.
I am available every day, including weekends, and I am flexible with time as well.
At the end of every lesson, I will always give homework to students and expect them to do it until our next lesson. I am however tolerant in unforeseen circumstances, or if any other personal issue arises.
At the beginning of every lesson and after checking the homework, I shall ask short questions related to previous lessons. Thus, I expect students to learn and take notes from every I teach on their own initiative, although I will remind this every now and then.
As a tutor, I am also aware that time is very valuable for every lesson. This is why I ensure that no lesson will be wasted by teaching topics already known by the student.
Finally, I also like to make my lessons fun and entertaining, as I have always found this the best way to learn. I am a very friendly and easy going person. I lived in the Central Asia, Europe, United States, and live in London in the last 15 years. I am a highly enthusiastic and committed technologist and get the best benefits out of my diverse studies in design and architecture. I am a creative and inspiring person. I have a positive attitude and it motivates students and adults and builds their self-confidence.
I talk a lot with kids and bridge interest within their enthusiasm, find the launch platforms and then children show the magic synergy.
I give a free engagement session on the first meet and spare some thoughts with parent - who may subsequently lead themselves.
I seek a prize together with student in achievements competition, thus, constructive dialogue way with parents shall be established.

Teaching Experience:
I have lived working in the UK since 2006. I have substantial experience working with children of primary ages and their families.
I helped second-year boy to achieve his excellence in math and he was able to jump over a year ahead, and tuned up his sister.
Although I had my best experience in one-to-one tutoring (for young Latvian girl), I believe the most effort is to be gifted by family.
My experience ranges from working with pupil and pre-schools as an assistant to tune their concentration and aim achievements.
I enjoy teaching Russian, Writing Skills, Mathematics, Geometry and develop more advanced skills in design, modeling, drafting.
I also tutored advanced skills in AutoCAD for student professional standing. Skype connection or a call is efficient without travel.
It is not only me giving, so much effort shall be taken by the student to take it; and, it is only multiplied, when a parent is involved.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe that open trustful communicative method is the best way to advance personal skills. I use a variety of activities and tasks to make sessions engaging but also challenging and productive. The lessons are tailored to agreed syllabus and your children's needs. Developing language skills is important, however, I am happy to be flexible and focus on what your child need timely first and most - whether it is: speaking or listening, reading or writing, thinking or actual design, improving pronunciation, vocabulary, or accounting.

B - bio: Biology to Yoga, 6-months to 9 months, (ideally year) environment based, observation and discovery research on Universe.
C - cad: Computer Aided Design, 1-month short (include BH) to 10-months intensive drawing skills from Brain's Hand to Digital PC.
D - DSL: Design to Production, dialogues based (seminarium) subject based instructions to develop own Design Skills Laboratory.
