Honest school teachers will tell you that it is the noisy and disruptive pupils that get their attention, whereas the quite shy hardworking pupils tend to get neglected. Busy school teachers just do not have the time or energy to devote to helping their quieter or weaker pupils and it is these pupils that especially benefit from extra personal tuition. On the other hand a brighter pupil may be so far ahead of his or her peers that the teacher is just not able to give them the attention they need. Teaching Experience:
As an experienced mentor and tutor, I have helped numerous pupils achieve academic success and pursue their dreams of becoming medical professionals. Over the course of 7 years, I have dedicated over 250 hours to tutoring challenging concepts in GCSE Maths and Science, as well as A Level Biology and Chemistry.

All of my students have seen an improvement of 2 or more grades, and every student has continued tuition with me after a first session. As the pandemic has changed the way we approach education, I have adapted my teaching methods to ensure continuity of learning for my students. Since COVID-19, I have accrued over 300 hours of online teaching and mentoring experience via Zoom and Microsoft Teams, providing a safe and convenient way for students to learn from the comfort of their own homes.

I received my Bachelor`s Degree in Physics in 2012 and my Master's Degree in 2017 from the University of Havana. Since I finished my Bachelor's degree, I worked as a Physics teacher in the Physics Faculty at the University of Havana from 2012 to 2021 where I worked as a lecturer.

I have taught General Physics subjects and Maths, at undergraduate level, I have covered Practical activities, Experimental Labs, and Lectures on these subjects. I have experience researching in the field of Theoretical Physics.

Besides my job at the university, I have worked as a private tutor helping students in Mathematics and Physics. Tutoring Approach:
Every student is different and my teaching style is adapted to their individual needs once we have identified their weaknesses.

I believe understanding is the best approach to learning and teaching. There's no point in just memorising things if you don't understand where they came from. I explain things in such a way that it is easy to understand, and I am very patient.

However, I cannot perform miracles. Students aiming for top grades would be expected to do some homework in between sessions.

I also offer a lot of flexibility. If the student has learnt something in school they didn't quite understand, I can go over the topic again with them during our lesson. If the student understood everything in school, I can teach them new topics to prepare them for when they learn that topic in school. Lastly, near exam times, I can offer intense exam revision and exam paper practice.
