Personal Description:
If you choose me, your child will see a marked improvement in their results and confidence levels. I am a highly experience, professional and friendly tutor with advanced DBS clearance. My teaching experience includes GCSE, iGCSE and A level (Edexcel, AQA, OCR (A and B for Physics), WJEC), University level Maths and Physics (including Oxford entrance exams MAT and PAT) as well as assisting PhD students to improve their thesis writing skills.

I pride myself on making lessons fun and informative which I believe provides the right environment to get the best out of my students. (2022 results: 100 percent pass rate at GCSE and A-Level. 77 percent got A*/A or 7/8/9)

As well as being a tutor, I work in research and development where I lead programmes that use Physics to understand complex problems. This experience allows me to inspire young people who have a love for the subject. I am also a STEM ambassador and would happily come to your school (for free) to inspire children in both science and maths.

I was awarded a First Class Honours degree from University College London in 1997 and went on to study a PhD in Quantum Mechanics. On successful completion of my PhD in 2001 I started work at Thales Research and Technology (TRT) where I led projects on Adaptive Learning Systems and Information Management. I initiated the first programme to span the three TRT laboratories in France, Netherlands and UK in the area of Cognitive Systems research. I then went on to set up and lead a large collaborative team between TRT and University of Surrey to study remote collaboration technologies. I joined General Dynamics United Kingdom Limited in 2005, primarily to ensure exploitation of DIF DTC technologies into the UK Ministry of Defence Equipment Programme. I received my Chartered Physicist status in 2004 and am now a director.

Teaching Experience:

Several students have improved by more than 4 grades after just six months of tuition with me, and commonly students improve by at least one or two grades. Many of my students who previously had lost their passion for Maths and Physics, go on to take these subjects to a further level. Apart from the usual syllabuses I am experienced at teaching students the Maths section of the SATs and ACTs in order to get scholarships to American Universities.

Tutoring Approach:

My tuition method involves making Maths and Physics fun so that children and young adults will remember their lessons and overcome the "I can't do science" syndrome. So that you can assess whether or not I am the right tutor for your child I offer the first lesson for free.

Personal Description:
Professional, amiable and passionate Oxford educated teacher, with experience teaching at some of the best schools in London. A level Chemistry and GCSE Science/Mathematics tuition. Available daytime, evenings and weekends.

Hello, my name is Christopher, I've taught Science and Mathematics for over 20 years, having previously taught Chemistry and Lower Science at Highgate School, North London, as well as Science and Mathematics at City of London School for Girls. I established a tuition business back in 2005, after graduating from Oxford University (Worcester College 2001 - 2005), with a Masters in Chemistry.

Teaching Experience:

I am a friendly, approachable Oxford educated teacher with over 20 years tutoring experience, comprising a mix of one-to-one tuition, teaching within small groups as well as larger classroom environments. I have extensive, detailed knowledge of all the major GCSE and A-level examination boards, with particular expertise in the OCR, Edexcel, CIE/Pre-U, WJEC and AQA syllabuses.

I've taught A-level Chemistry and GCSE Science at Highgate School, North London, and both Chemistry and Mathematics at City of London School for Girls. I have experience teaching pupils affected with learning difficulties such as ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and those on the autistic spectrum.

I also offer tuition for the BMAT and GAMSAT medical school entrance exams. Over the past decade, I have helped numerous students of school age (as well as mature students), with these difficult, niche tests, gain entry to their chosen medical school. Additionally, I offer bespoke coaching and mock interview practice for those applying to medical school and Oxbridge, including the preparation of a Personal Statement for the UCAS form (this being one of my designated roles at Highgate).

Lastly, I have substantial experience preparing students for the 13+ (Common Entrance) and 16+ exams, with some of my previous cohort gaining entry to very prestigious schools in the U.K., such as Winchester College, Westminster School and City of London School for Girls (where I taught both Mathematics and Chemistry for over two years). Furthermore, I have been an examiner for these papers too.

Trust when I say I have a deep understanding of what content goes into these tests; I've written the questions as well as marked them!

2024-2025 rate for all services: £65/hour

A 120 minute session is charged at a reduced rate of £120.

Terms: 24 hours notice is required in the event of a cancellation, otherwise full payment is required for the missed lesson.

Full online tuition services are provided utilising whatever platform you wish - whether it be Zoom, Skype or Microsoft Teams. Online lessons are streamed in full HD using professional audio, visual and lighting equipment, ensuring your experience is as close as possible to in-person tuition. Furthermore, I utilise an electronic whiteboard, so you can take notes during the lesson and we can discuss problems in real-time. Lastly, practice questions, mark schemes and notes can be sent over instantly during the lesson.

I have an extensive list of references from previously satisfied clients for your perusal - please get in touch and see my personal website and Google Business listing for more information.

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to get the very best out of students using a variety of teaching methods with a strong emphasis on exam technique. I have helped pupils of all ages and abilities both on a one-to-one basis as well as within small groups/large classroom environments.

Every person is different, and every person has his/her own grasping ability whether at home or in school. With this in mind I am very flexible and adaptable in my approach to teaching, and endeavour to create a learning environment where the pupil can thrive.

Personal Description:
Hi

I have just finished a PhD in maths at Newcastle University so it goes without saying I'm enthusiastic about both maths and physics. On top of this I have a wide variety of interests, and this allows me to find ways of explaining things that the people I'm tutoring can relate to.

Teaching Experience:

While studying at Newcastle I've taken many tutorials for students taking courses in Maths. For the past 6 years I've also worked in a tutoring drop-in centre where any student at Newcastle University can come to ask maths questions. I've always enjoyed this work as over the course of a day I can be asked how to apply maths to many problems from mechanical engineering to fine arts!

I have also done a lot of private tuition of A-levels for all of the major examining boards. I have often got this work from referral of satisfied customers.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a relaxed and friendly tutoring style.

I usually find students learn best by working through questions or examples, but I am also happy provide teaching of entire subjects from scratch. So if you're having trouble understand the material needed to pass an exam/assignment or wanting to learn about a subject from start to finish I will be able to help.

Personal Description:
Post doctoral researcher at University of Sheffield, working to improve mathematical computer models which predict onset of heart disease.

I recently completed a PhD in Bioengineering at Imperial College London, carrying out mathematical research on heart disease. My first degree was in Maths at the same university, and I took a Masters in Biomedical Research in between.

I attended both a state school and a top boarding school and am comfortable to cover topics on and off the standard syllabus.

I am a very fun, friendly person with a wide range of activities and hobbies from inline skating to singing and playing the violin.

Teaching Experience:

I have tutored A-level maths privately for a few years, and also spent several weeks as a teaching assistant in a secondary school during my undergraduate degree as part of the Student Associates Scheme. Many of my contemporaries from university are science and mathematics teachers across England and overseas, and I periodically discuss teaching methods and curriculum changes with them.

During my PhD, I led undergraduate tutorials and problems classes in the Mathematics and several Engineering departments, teaching undergraduates from 1st year to 4th year. The courses include Mathematical Methods, Matlab, Fluid Mechanics, PDEs, Modelling in Biology, Heat and Mass Transfer. I also carried out 1-1 tuition for undergraduates at departmental request. I have supervised a number of undergraduate and masters research projects and summer students.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a very approachable person and I prefer interactive sessions, although I can tailor the tuition style to the individual.

A first meeting would involve an informal chat for the student and I to get more familiar with his/her needs and style of working, and everything follows from there.

Personal Description:
Phd Chemistry graduate, Current A level Chemistry teacher and Edexcel examiner

I have always enjoyed science from an early age, this is what led me to study for a PhD in Chemistry. This enthusiasm for science definitely comes across in my teaching because I think it is the first step in engaging and enthusing pupils about science.

I am a calm and patient teacher and my belief is that there is no such thing as someone who can't do science. Only that the right approach has not been found yet.

Teaching Experience:

Over 10 years tutoring and teaching experience.

Tutoring Approach:

Generally, in the first session I aim to find out what exactly the pupil is struggling with. Subsequent sessions can then be tailored to fit these needs. This will involve lots of practice on the problem areas so that the pupil becomes comfortable with it.

Personal Description:
Hi I'm Meghavi and I am a BSc Physics graduate from Imperial College London and I have a QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) at grade 1 - Outstanding. Currently, I work as a Consultant in the Digital Transformation space. I have always been interested in teaching, from my GCSE years, I began helping my friends with their school work. Moving to A level years I started helping out some of the teachers in my school to run after school sessions to help kids with their Homework. I would say I am very patient and will sit there till the concept is clear in their minds. I am not the kind of person who gives up easily so I will do what it takes to make sure an idea or concept is understood. As a person I am very friendly and bubbly. I like to have a good laugh and I'm a good listener.

As far as personal interests go; I love to travel, I love music, movies and Food. I enjoy cooking. I like trying out new things and exploring new places and meeting new people.

Teaching Experience:

My interest in teaching began when I started helping my sister with her school work. I started teaching in 2009. I worked at Kumon (one of UK's largest supplementary education provider) for a year. I then started tutoring AS Students for AS Physics at Lampton School which involved spending my free lessons and after school sessions to help them with any conceptual problems, homework, exam practice or just a recap of any topic in AS Physics. These students felt comfortable coming up to me at any time during or after school to ask any queries they had about the subject. (References Available)

I have helped out in Maths classes and planned my own lessons under the supervision of my teacher. I have also worked as a learning mentor at Lampton School and helped students with any homework or classwork in various subjects.

More recently (2013 - 2014) I have been a tutor for various students; teaching A Level Physics, A Level Maths and Further Maths, GCSE Maths, Primary Maths and GCSE Science (Biology Chemistry and Physics all inc).

Tutoring Approach:

Clearly each student is different, and so the way of teaching each one will be different. However I believe that if the foundation is strong nothing can go wrong. I will first try to ensure that the concept and the base of the subject is strong before we go on to a number of past paper questions and exercises. I believe that the best way to learn is to see how any problem can be tackled, go through the thought process and then apply what you know to the specific problem and solve it.

I will first see what the student finds most difficult and what their weaknesses are and then strive to overcome them. Each student will have their own learning methods, some may learn by understanding the whole concept then going into the exam questions, some want to go through exam questions while they are learning the concept to see how the theory can be applied to the problems. Some may learn visually with experiments or examples whereas others will learn through trial and improvement of their own. I will spend the first session finding out how they like to learn and design a program just right for that individual student.

From previous experiences I believe the key areas students need help in are:
- learning the foundation of the subject
- how to manage time in exams
- how to structure their answers in an exam
- lots and lots of practice
Hopefully once we start tutoring, the students will feel much more confident with the subject and the key to success for any exam is self confidence. I will always be their as a guide, a mentor, a friend to help them through what they find difficult.

Personal Description:
My name is Adam and I'm based just outside Crewkerne in Somerset.

After studying Physics at the University of Bristol, I have spent the past 10 years working in the field of sustainable buildings. Alongside my professional career, I spent five years working as a private tutor between 2016 and 2021. I then took a short break from tutoring as my two sons were born, and I am now looking forward to supporting new students once again.

I specialise in Maths and Physics at KS3, GCSE and A-Level. I understand that these subjects can feel intimidating at times - I believe that by starting simple and building up step by step, any student can gain confidence and tackle even the most complicated problems. I enjoy helping young people to surprise themselves with how much they can learn and achieve.

Teaching Experience:

I have five years of tutoring experience (2016-2021), supporting students at KS3, GCSE and A-level in both Maths and Physics, as well as one student applying to Oxford. During this time I helped many students build confidence and achieve strong results, including grade improvements at A-level. After a short break while my two sons were born, I am now returning to tutoring and look forward to helping new students succeed.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach depends on each student and their confidence level. I aim to build understanding step by step, starting with simple problems and gradually increasing the challenge. I understand that Maths and Physics can often feel intimidating, but with a clear grasp of the basics, students can learn to tackle even the most complex questions. I make use of practical techniques such as structured practice, memory aids, and revision strategies, while keeping lessons engaging and encouraging.

Personal Description:
I have been a teacher for many years having received my PGCE in 1992. Since that time I have worked in a variety of schools in the state and private sectors both in London and Oxfordshire. Teaching physics is a great privilege and pleasure having taught A Level physics for both OCR and Edexcel boards as well as GCSE and iGCSE physics and chemistry. I am currently in the process of creating an A-level OCR physics course for an Oxfordshire school which is both challenging and hugely rewarding as I know it will be used for the A-level students for years to come.

Here are a few testimonials of previous tuition:

From Martin 5/5: (A-Level Physics) Excellent!

We cannot praise Kevin enough. He has the rare combination of knowing his subject very thoroughly and able to communicate that knowledge in a way that immediately makes sense to the pupil. Plus he is clearly very enthusiastic about the subject and teaching others. Very inspirational.

Time keeping perfect. General manor, friendly and enthusiastic. You just know your child is going to enjoy the lesson and progress.

I have no doubt that our daughter will have improved her exam grades by at least a grade. Also her general interest and enthusiasm for the subject has improved.

Simon: 5/5 Our son is enjoying the sessions very much, Kevin has reinvigorated our son's enthusiasm for Physics and perfectly meets the mix of needs now; subject knowledge, teaching style, enthusiasm and targetted exam technique… brilliant!

Natasha: 5/5 Kevin tutored my son for maths and physics. He made the lessons interesting and fun and really helped him with the revision process. He was always prompt and cheerful. All in all, an inspiring teacher.

Siyu: 5/5 It's very useful for the exam. Thank you so much!.

Taught top and bottom GCSE science groups with physics as a specialism. Participated in after school clubs including The America Club ( letter writing to pen pals), and The Music Society ( encouraging pupils to play musical instruments ).

Physics Teacher: During the Easter holidays I taught revision courses in A level physics and instructed candidates on good revision techniques. During the summer I worked for the administration department as a clerical officer as well as overseeing their ' social monitoring ' programme for the foreign language students.

Tutoring Approach:

I would use my experience in teaching to understand the specific problems the tutee has with the subject material and then work with them with appropriate materials and resources to overcome the areas of concern.

My experiences in schools range from organizing trips for science based activities and interests, accompanying pupils skiing as well as the world famous Magdalene College School choir to Europe and coaching rowing in London and Oxford schools for competitive events in London and Henley. I would use my experience with students to help develop a good working relationship.

Tutoring Approach:

I usually start with the current topics that student is studying in the school and explain to the student that topic and related background knowledge. As I teach one to one, my pace is faster than school and we usually finish the topic in one or sometimes two classes. And then we do previous topics and I explain doubts on those topics. I usually do not teach students that they already know, instead, start topic wise past papers of the topics students feel he or she knows well.

I explain to students how to write the answer to the questions asked,... not what they know... in a very concise and complete manner and relate the answers to the mark schemes of the past papers... and there is a lot of similar things that I explain...

I am a family man with three daughters.I try hard in all I do and have progressed through state schools to gain a teaching certificate (based on three years of training with assessment of teaching ability),an honours degree in maths and science,a diploma in health education, and an M.Phil. based on field work in educational techniques. For my hobby,I play tennis and National Service.
Besides face to face tutoring,I also do postal tuition. As an honours graduate of the Open University I know this can be effective.I find the initial requirements by telephone then send a worksheet by post. When the student returns this I mark with full comment and send back with a full work out of each question. Some questions are designed by me and some are from previous papers. In my view this method is better than online as there is more time for reflection.I charge just £22 for postal tuition and will tutor students from anywhere in Great Britain or abroad

Teaching Experience:

I h ave taught in grammar schools, secondary modern and comprehensive. I have also lectured as a visiting lecturer on educational methods at Leeds University, based on my M.Phil.research.I do not have any experience in primary schools.I have 20 years of tutoring experience.

Tutoring Approach:

I first try to find the needs of the student.I prepare meticulously and review every lesson.I try to install an enthusiasm for the subject.

Personal Description:
I am an enthusiastic teacher of Physics with 17 years` experience. I enjoy hill walking and off road cycling. I am married with a son living away from home. I specialise in teaching A Level Physics and Cambridge Pre-U and have experience with all examination boards and with both A and B specifications.

Before becoming a teacher I had a wide experience of industry and also worked in two university departments: Trinity College Dublin as a Physics Lecturer and Durham University as a Computer Science lecturer.

Teaching Experience:

I have spent most of my career in industry and left to train as a teacher in 2003 years ago. I taught KS4 and KS5 Physics at Emmanuel College and was Head of Physics at Barnard Castle school. Since my partial retirement I have taught Physics at Durham High School for girls in 2019 and 2020. I have now retired from full time employment and am available throughout the working day and in the evening to provide online tuition.

Tutoring Approach:

I always aim to build a warm and friendly relationship with my students. In my online lessons I typically spend about half the time reviewing the subject material and the rest of the time in working through questions with the student. I use an online whiteboard and send a copy of the notes from the session to the student. I generally supply additional work to be completed for the next session, although this is optional and depends on individual needs.

Personal Description:
Hi! I'm a masters student at the University of Nottingham, with lots of experience tutoring both online and in person. I'm passionate about maths and physics and would love to help you out with your GCSE and A level revision.

I have experience with international exam boards such IEdexcel and CIE so would love to help you out with your IGCSEs and A levels over the summer .

I would also love to help out if you student who needs to catch up due to covid related missed learning or if you'd like to get get a head start on your A level content this summer!

Teaching Experience:

- Over 850 hour of online tutoring experience (mostly private but also in schools).
- 1 year of in person tutoring experience in a school.
- A summer job writing content (i.e., notes and questions) for an A level physics course.

I am familiar with all of the major UK exam boards (Edexcel, OCR and AQA) in all of the subjects that I teach as well as many international boards.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that the most efficient and rewarding way to learn is through understanding. Gaining deep understanding of the underlying physical and/or mathematical concepts, is key to tackling higher level questions. Understanding just one concept can make pages of your textbooks seem trivial. I will therefore try and identify and fix gaps in your knowledge and understanding. By doing this I aim to minimize that amount which you're required to memorize before an exam. I think that learning a subject by rigorous memorization is mind numbingly dull and is the best way to kill a passion.

Many people will not fulfil their potential due to fear of asking questions which they perceive as 'stupid'. I encourage you to ask me ridiculous and stupid questions.

A level exam boards have a tendency to ask very similar questions and even repeat exam questions from year to year. We will therefore spend lots of time looking at exam questions and the way in which they're marked to maximise the marks you can pick up.

I like to provide detailed feedback for my students by sending you a copy of your specification with the content we have covered highlighted red amber green after each session.

Personal Description:
I'm a graduate of the University of Cambridge (Murray Edwards College) in Natural Sciences, specialising in Physics, with over five years of teaching experience. After university, I spent a year as a Science teaching assistant in a top Oxford senior school, and a further two years as a classroom teacher abroad, mainly in China, where I taught Physics and Maths A level. I just finished studying for a Masters in Environment, Politics and Development at SOAS in London. I live in Brixton and am available for online or in-person tutoring and have a flexible schedule.

Recent review from a GCSE maths client:

"Freya was an absolutely fantastic tutor. My daughter started off really reticent but very quickly started to enjoy and look forward to her tutor sessions. Her confidence increased at each session and Freya was able to explain things in a way that made sense for her. Thank you."

Teaching Experience:

I have completed over 800 hours of GCSE, A Level and Oxbridge admissions tutorials for science and maths. I also used to work for the business side of a tutoring company so I know how to provide a quality service.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to explain concepts using real world examples that students can visualise and recall the next time they have to answer a question on that topic. I absolutely love Science and Maths, and aim for my enthusiasm to rub off on my students! Previous tutees of mine have said I gave them confidence and passion for their subject while made them feel comfortable to dig deep into their understanding of topics without feeling scared of making a mistake. Outside of teaching I enjoy playing music, swimming and writing.

Personal Description:
Dr. Catherine is a dedicated scientist and educator whose career spans advanced academic research, science education, and personal tutoring. With a deep-rooted passion for physics and its applications, she has combined her expertise in experimental and applied science with her vocation to inspire the next generation of learners.

Born with an early curiosity for the natural world, Catherine pursued her studies in physics with determination. She earned her B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Physics from Wroclaw University, where she explored the growth of metals on alloy surfaces. Her doctoral research, "Growth of Pb on Ni3Al(111)", reflected her keen ability to investigate materials at the atomic level. She later expanded her academic journey at Warwick University, completing a second Ph.D. in Physics on "Growth and Characterisation of Metal Alloy and Metal Oxide Surfaces." Her work contributed to advancing the understanding of thin-film growth and nanostructures, leading to several publications in respected international journals. Among her noted contributions are studies on ultrathin metal layers, titanium dioxide films, and surface morphology, establishing her reputation as a careful and innovative experimentalist.

After years in research, Catherine transitioned into education, determined to share her scientific knowledge in a way that would have a direct impact on young people. She completed a PGCE with QTS at the University of Winchester, equipping her with the pedagogical foundation to teach science across all secondary school levels.

Beyond her teaching, Catherine remains connected to her research roots. She has authored and co-authored several publications, including contributions to Applied Surface Science and Materials. These works, ranging from the structural determination of metallic surfaces to the optimisation of thin-film growth, illustrate her ongoing identity as both a teacher and a scientist.

What defines Dr. Catherine's career is the balance she has achieved between the rigour of scientific inquiry and the nurturing ethos of education. She has moved fluidly from the laboratory to the classroom, from international research to local communities, always with the purpose of unlocking potential in others. Whether mentoring young learners, supporting those with special educational needs, or contributing to the broader field of physics, Catherine exemplifies a professional life dedicated to knowledge, care, and inspiration.

Teaching Experience:

Her teaching career has since flourished across a range of schools and academies. Catherine has taught in institutions such as Swanmore College, Wildern Academy, and UTC Portsmouth, where she not only delivered the sciences at KS3 and KS4 but also pioneered the development of a new T-Level course. She embraced opportunities beyond the classroom, leading enrichment activities in CAD and crafts, coordinating SilverCrest Awards, and supporting students in employment readiness. At King's Academy Bay House, she brought her expertise in physics and broader sciences to pupils while nurturing Year 10 learners as a tutor. Her dedication extended to specialist teaching, including her time at Mayville High School and SEN Wavern House, demonstrating her adaptability and commitment to inclusive education.

Alongside her teaching roles, Catherine has pursued private tutoring through KEU Consultancy Ltd and Sherpa, where she continues to support learners preparing for examinations such as GCSE, A-level, and 13+ entry exams to prestigious schools including Eton and Westminster College. Her expertise in exam specifications-AQA, OCR, and Edexcel-has enabled her to guide students with precision and clarity.

Her academic and professional journey is complemented by an impressive commitment to continuous development. Catherine has undertaken extensive training in safeguarding, health and safety, emergency aid, radicalisation awareness, and supporting vulnerable learners. These certifications reflect her holistic approach to education, where student wellbeing is valued alongside academic achievement.

Tutoring Approach:

For Dr. Catherine, tutoring is more than delivering subject knowledge-it is about unlocking each learner's potential by understanding how they learn best. Her approach to tutoring is informed by recent advances in educational psychology, cognitive science, and pedagogy, all of which emphasise that no two students learn in exactly the same way.

Drawing on research in metacognition, memory, and motivation, Catherine builds her tutoring practice around the principle that effective learning occurs when students are not only taught content but also given the tools to understand their own thinking. She encourages learners to reflect on how they solve problems, identify what strategies work for them, and develop confidence in applying those strategies independently.

Central to her philosophy is individualisation. Every child comes with unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations. Some may thrive on visual explanations, while others learn best through hands-on practice or discussion. Catherine takes the time to assess these differences, adapting her lessons accordingly-whether that means breaking down complex physics principles into manageable steps, linking abstract science to real-world examples, or building scaffolds for students with learning difficulties.

Her approach also aligns with student-centred learning models, which place the child's needs at the core of the educational process. Rather than imposing a one-size-fits-all method, she co-constructs learning pathways with her students, ensuring that goals are clear, achievable, and motivating. Catherine is attentive not only to academic progress but also to emotional and cognitive wellbeing. She understands that resilience, curiosity, and self-belief are as important as exam results in shaping a lifelong learner.

Practical strategies underpin her sessions. She uses spaced repetition to reinforce knowledge over time, retrieval practice to strengthen memory, and dual coding (combining words with visuals) to aid understanding. She applies the latest insights from cognitive load theory to avoid overwhelming students, ensuring that new information is introduced in digestible stages. At the same time, she weaves in opportunities for creativity and inquiry, inviting students to ask their own questions and experiment with new ideas.

Catherine's tutoring style is also deeply relational. She believes that trust and rapport between tutor and student are foundational to success. By creating a supportive and non-judgmental learning environment, she allows students to take risks, embrace mistakes as part of the learning process, and ultimately grow in confidence.

For her, tutoring is not about producing short-term results but about nurturing independent thinkers who will carry their learning skills into future challenges. This philosophy is evident in her work preparing students for key milestones-such as GCSEs, A-levels, and entrance exams for prestigious schools-where she combines rigorous subject knowledge with strategies that empower students to approach exams with resilience and self-assurance.

In every session, Catherine demonstrates that tutoring is not just the transmission of knowledge, but the cultivation of learning itself. By combining cutting-edge research with compassion and adaptability, she ensures that each student is seen, heard, and supported on their unique educational journey.
