I am a qualified teacher with 2 children. I've been teaching for over 20 years at a variety of schools within Hampshire and across the primary phase. I tutor mainly Maths and English and over the past 7 years I have successfully tutored children through their SAT's exams.

I'm an author and a poet, I have had many poems published, won first prize in an international poetry competition (2011) and have also brought out two collections, which are on sale on Amazon. In 2015 I published my memoir A Hippopotamus at the Table. Set in South Africa in the 1970s. I'm about to publish my second memoir and published a book called Writing Memoir. I developed a love for reading at an early age, which eventually expanded to writing as well, and which led me to study English Literature and Creative Writing at university.
