Personal Description:

I have been teaching secondary school science since 2002. I have a wide experience across the age and ability range and prepare all lessons with learning style and individual differentiation in mind. I have been a private tutor since 2006 and worked with ages 7-16 across a wide range of subjects to equally great success. I prefer to tutor in the tutee's home as this is where they are most comfortable and therefore in a mindset ready to learn. I also work and mark GCSE exams and moderate controlled assessment.

I have been a highly successful 11+ expert tutor for 16years with a wealth of experience with a variety of exam boards, grammar and independent schools exam settings.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to make activities fun and active to engage the student and also include an aspect of repetition to check learning and embed learning into long term memory to help prepare for future exams.
