My academic credentials are very good, having achieved 5 As at A Level - the top marks, including 100% in various mathematics exams, when I took them in 2008.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach is very student centric - focused on the needs of the student. If I believe theory is lacking, I will explain the theory in a comprehensive way. If I believe application is missing, I will go over many questions, guiding the student through them. I have a mix of my own questions and past paper questions that I use. As the exams draw nearer I will focus more on past papers.

I also give each student, if they or the parents want it, activities to do which I will mark at the next session. This is like homework except I will try to make it more engaging and fun. None of my activities are generalised - I will base each on what the student requires. For example, in the past my activities have ranged from book work, to a problem solving puzzle to solve over the course of the week, to an essay, to even a relatively light exercise of reading any magazine article and giving a presentation on it.

The tutor is the expert in subject knowledge and learning but it is the tutee who has the paramount role in their own education and excelling in their subjects. I firmly believe that the role of a tutor is that of a catalyst and the child's role in their own learning is of greater importance. I aim to guide the tutee to learn in a structured manner that so that the child does not waste their time jumping from topic to topic, randomly browsing a bit here and a bit there, as often happens. If your child is quiet and shy or is in a mediocre class or is just coasting along or is struggling to achieve the grades required to get into the University course of their choice, whether it is Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacology, Engineering, Computing, Optometry or other science course, then tuition with myself will enable them to boost their grades and give them the advantage that they need. Honest school teachers will tell you that it is the noisy and disruptive pupils that get their attention, whereas the quite shy hardworking pupils tend to get neglected. Busy school teachers just do not have the time or energy to devote to helping their quieter or weaker pupils and it is these pupils that especially benefit from extra personal tuition. On the other hand a brighter pupil may be so far ahead of his or her peers that the teacher is just not able to give them the attention they need. It is never too early to start boosting a child's education. For primary school children it is important that they get a good start to their education and do not lag behind. As well as that I have a lot of experience in industry and working around the world. I am 36 yrs old, happily married to my lovely wife Ren, and was born and raised in the United Kingdom.

I have a BEng (Hons) Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oxford Brookes University and have A-levels in Mathematics, Physics and Physical Education. My degree had numerous modules in advanced mathematics and physics, which I excelled at and deeply enjoyed. I informally tutored several of my friends and peers during university in Mathematics.

Following my graduation I secured a junior project engineering position at a company in the Oil and Gas Industry in 2007. I progressed into a project management role within 3 years of starting my career and I have subsequently been a Project Manager and Project management consultant for large engineering and construction companies in the Oil, Gas and Energy industries, including Schlumberger and Koch Industries. I have been a Project Manager in the industry for over 10 years and have managed numerous multi million pound projects for many large clients including Shell, Exxon Mobil, Centrica and Saudi Aramco. I am a Member of the Association of Project Management.

However, over the last few years I have become increasingly aware and concerned about the impact of my industry on climate change and I have become very interested in contributing to society in a more constructive manner. I have grown more interested in tutoring, in large part due to the positive impact i have seen my father have on his students - he has been a tutor in A-level Mathematics and Physics for the last 10 years, following his retirement from his engineering profession. And I feel I can have a similar positive impact on young people with my educational, professional and personal experience.

Teaching Experience:
I have 3 months of tutoring experience. However, my career as a Project Manager has required me to lead, mentor and train young project engineers and project managers on the principles of project management, work practices and their duties. This required me to impart, share and educate my younger, less experienced colleagues to better prepare them for their roles. So I am confident these skills and experience will serve me well with students and hold me in good stead to be a successful tutor.

Hello, my name is Milo. I am undertaking a Masters in Astrophysics at the University of Cambridge, having just achieved a First Class Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences. I have a high proficiency in Physics and Maths and am an experienced teacher. I also offer tutoring in Chemistry, for which I was awarded the Salters Advanced Chemistry Award for my outstanding A level performance.

Teaching Experience:
I have three years experience tutoring Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics for GCSE, A level, IB and University admissions. This includes experience with all the major UK exam boards including AQA, OCR, Edexcel. Tutoring Approach:
My approach to teaching conceptual misunderstandings is that any idea can be understood by anyone, as long as it is deconstructed into small enough steps and that the student is walked through each step at the correct pace. During lessons, I guide students through past paper questions, building their confidence as they apply their knowledge to real-life situations. For exams, I believe that active recall (recalling and using information from memory alone) and studying mark schemes are the best way to revise.

Good Morning
I am Mr Haig and been teaching A level Psychology, Sociology, Biology and GCSE Science teacher since 2019 in a prestigious school in St Albans. My classes are humorous, funny and almost immediately you are getting into Psychology and Science.
My students usually score from 65 to 79 in the exams (B to A*), except Bobby he scored 61 still B but could had done much better.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching in Hertfordshire since 2019, St Albans. Before I thought in China for 2 years, where I learned how not to teach and what to avoid in classrooms. My multicultural background avoids the cultural bias and gender bias (girls are better in psychology).

Tutoring Approach:
I am using the AQA, Edexel, OCR boards as they are most common examination in the country. My classes are dynamic and full of energy. The experience that you will gather, will not just help you to pass the test with flying colours but also you will be able to explain simple psychological and science phenomena that occur in our day to day activities. You will look at the world more like an Enigma code that needs to be cracked.

As a recently retired Chartered Engineer I'm looking to help students to improve, and gain confidence in, their maths or science skills. This might be helping with subjects that the student finds difficult, catching up with missed work, assisting with coursework, or stretching a budding genius

I have been providing personal tuition to students for about 10 years. I only take on a couple of students at a time so that I can spend enough time with them. Most of my students have come to me through word of mouth.

Try to understand what the student finds difficult and focus on the big issues.
