I am a highly experienced Science teacher with 25 years plus teaching Chemistry (specialist), Physics and Biology up to GCSE level and beyond, with a comprehensive subject knowledge. I have 8 years' ongoing experience as a AQA and Edexcel Examiner, marking Chemistry papers and working with mark schemes. For exams, the requirements of the exam board are paramount. I prepare students on how to revise most efficiently and structure their answers to score maximum marks. My approach to teaching follows three stages for topics that students are less familiar with:

Guided Example - I begin by working through an example with the student, explaining each step in detail.

Supported Practice - I then provide a similar question broken into smaller parts, prompting the student to ask questions and gradually increasing their independence. This step is repeated until they are confident.

Independent Practice - Finally, I give the student a full question without hints or prompts, to check their understanding and ability to solve it independently.

I can tutor Mathematics up to A-Level (including Further Maths), and I am confident with all the content at this level. Informally, I have tutored peers in the past and found it rewarding to see their progress reflected in improved grades.

I am a young and enthusiastic tutor based in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, who loves teaching and interacting with students.
I received my Bachelor`s Degree in Physics in 2012 and my Master's Degree in 2017 from the University of Havana. Since I finished my Bachelor's degree, I worked as a Physics teacher in the Physics Faculty at the University of Havana from 2012 to 2021 where I worked as a lecturer.

I have taught General Physics subjects and Maths, at undergraduate level, I have covered Practical activities, Experimental Labs, and Lectures on these subjects. I have experience researching in the field of Theoretical Physics.

Besides my job at the university, I have worked as a private tutor helping students in Mathematics and Physics.
