I have been a primary school teacher since 1986 and have worked across the age range from 6 to 11. I have a good deal of experience teaching children in Year 6 and preparing them for the step up to secondary school. I have spent many years accumulating a wide range of academic qualifications, and my work has often primarily consisted of passing on my knowledge to others in a form they can understand. I get a lot of satisfaction from helping people to understand something they thought was beyond them. Hello my name is Anne-Marie, I am from Ireland but have been living in the UK since 2004. This is now a place I call home. I realised I had a flare for imparting knowledge when I became a basketball trainer at 15, working with Primary and Secondary pupils. My name is Michael, a penultimate year medical student. I hold a BSc Biochemistry degree with First Class Honours from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a leading university in Hong Kong. Besides academic, I am a black belt holder in Taekwondo, a Korean martial art. I started learning Taekwondo since I was six. I have taught students ranging from primary students to adults, in their pursuit of an active lifestyle and skills to defend themselves if needed.
