At the same time I am a practising photographic artist with an interest in abstract photography. I am an experienced teacher of both classics and modern languages, and have taught in a variety of secondary schools. The advantage of private lessons is that I can focus on what the individual learner wants, which might be lots of oral practice to become more proficient at speaking, or to pass a specific exam. I do like to set homework from week to week as this is an important part of progress; but it is not compulsory!

My name is Valentinos. I am a native Greek speaker and professional teacher of the Greek language. I am passionate about teaching and the use of the new technologies in education.
I studied at the University of Athens Classical Philology (this include Modern and Ancient Greek language) and teaching approaches and theories to the subject. I graduated in 2011 and I came to Liverpool for my masters at the University of Liverpool. I studied Ancient History and at the same time, I started an online course from the center of Hellenic studies in Athens which focuses on the teaching of Greek as a foreign language.

I have been an online Greek tutor since 2014. I've been teaching one-to-one Skype lessons and making video lessons for my students so as to explain different aspects of the Greek language. I am coming from Patras, Greece, where I spent most of my childhood and early adult life. I have been teaching in Special Education for 6 years supporting students aged from 7 to 16 years old with a range of learning, mental health and medical difficulties. The last couple years I am privileged enough to work in Primary Education and in teaching Greek as a second language.

My name is Kyriacos and I am originally from Cyprus but have been living in the UK for the past 12 years. In my day job I am a Chartered Electical Engineer and I love to teach Greek/Cypriot as a part time role, which I have been doing for a few years now.

I love to travel, learn about the world and expirience new cultures, I also love sports and music.
