My exam classes have a very good track record. This year, my year 11 class are predicted 58% grades 9 to 8 and 100% 9 to 6, and my A Level class 63% A*-A and 88% A*-B. I have worked with both Edexcel and AQA in this time, so I know what it takes to get the best grades, especially at GCSE. Studying French and Spanish at University College London gave me the incredible opportunity to live in Madrid for a year, where I became fluent in Spanish. I come from a native French background (with a French mother). Therefore, I have been lucky to spend my summer holidays at my grandparent's house in France granting me full conversational fluency.

The subsequent academic study of French has allowed me to gain that rigorous understanding of the French language - and, in the last few years, a fair amount of literature - which gives me the requisite knowledge to help children reach their potential in this subject.

In my secondary school from the ages of 15 to 18 I acted as a student mentor, a role which has both pastoral and academic capacities. In the academic part of my role, I helped other pupils with French from the ages of 11 to 16 who had been selected as they were struggling in their classes.
