Most of my school and college education took place in Dudley (West Midlands) and I studied Biochemistry, at Leeds University (1975-8). I am married and have lived in Cheshire since Dec 1978. During my long service in the Pharma industry (~30 years), I have run many short courses and workshops. I have been teaching for just under 20 years, and tutoring for just under 15 years. Whilst I love my time in the classroom, nothing quite matches the one-to-one experience of working with students, especially supporting individuals to pass their GCSE English exams.
