A work plan is also devised with the aim to complete the syllabus well before the examinations, so as to have adequate time for revision. The following steps outline the process of each tuition session:
1. Initiate the subject or topic based on discussion of a real life example / scenario
2. Introduce the theoretical part of the subject or topic
3. Explain how the theory links to the real life example / scenario
4. Work out and explain some examples

My career as a Teacher of Business Studies merges my three passions in life; Education, Business and People! Whether you are studying for a Phd, GCSE, A Level, learning to read or write, or you just simply want to learn how to study, I would like to help you to reach your academic goal.

My most recent qualification is an Education Doctorate. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies, a Higher National Diploma in Business & Finance as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Business Education, which allows me to teach Business in Secondary as well as a Further Education teaching qualification.
I hold a current DBS.

I have achieved a Distinction/First Class grade at level 7/Postgraduate Certificate which I completed part-time. This grade was achieved as I employed effective study strategies; which I can deliver to those requiring study support.

Teaching Experience:
I have over 15 years experience teaching Business in schools and colleges in the Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham and Walsall area. I teach GCSE, A Level, BTEC levels 2 and 3 in Business. Also, Economics at GCSE. Ive also taught Travel & Tourism, Public Services, Enterprise and Retail Business, Maths and English

Personal Description:
I am PhD student at Harper Adams University, working on my final stages on my thesis. While I always enjoyed sharing my knowledge, I found lot of satisfaction from my students and there successes. It is really refreshing to work with young students, and that's why I am engaged in private tuition.

Also, I am Greek, but I am living and working 5 years in UK. I try to learn German, and I love DYI projects and crafts.

Tutoring Approach:
My goal is to cover the necessary content with the most effective, efficient and quickest possible way. I never forget to add some fun :) .
I have already created lesson plants, which help me with the distribution of the content throughout the year/term.
I regularly assess student's progress with questions during the lesson, but also incorporating in the tests Mock tests. Mock tests help the student to familiarise with the process and reduce stress levels for all (student, parents and tutor). Mock tests include past papers (example GCSE/ A levels).
When relevant, we might use demonstrative lectures for science subjects.

I have experience of working in one of the big 4 Accounting firms as well as industry as a qualified Accountant. Tutoring comes natural to me,with years of experience under my belt . I have done classroom teaching of A level students on a part time basis where i taught Accounting, i have also done one on one tutoring for subjects like Maths , English at primary level. I have experience teaching students from primary level from year 4 to year 11 up to A level as well as professional level. I also provide learning for Accounting professionals doing AAT, degree and CIMA

Growing up my parents were both in the teaching field and i acquired skills of learning and how to share knowledge with others. I endeavour to deliver the best and create a comfortable learning environment for my students. They should free to ask questions and there wont be such a thing as a silly question in other words an environment where the students can express themselves without feeling judged. I am a committed, PGCE trained teacher with QTLS who hopes to build on the experience that I have gained through my PGCE and my teaching experience in FE colleges and 6th form schools so far by gaining employment in a new role as a GCSE & A Level Business Studies online tutor, and Homework help. I am a full qualified Business Studies teacher, and I have taught GCSE and A Level Business, Finance, and Accounting in 6th form Schools and colleges in London for 8 years. I have also experience in teaching GCSE Economics as well as BTEC Business (New Syllabus) I have a great passion to teach and I have a very good track record of my previous students who achieved good results. I also have worked with special needs students with different learning disabilities including Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to Tutoring is one on one, each student is unique, with different learning abilities, and prefer different learning styles. There is no one size fits all lesson. One on one is beneficial to students, as a tutor I will have to continually assess each one academically and tailor my lessons to their particular needs. This way each child is able to achieve their full potential.

Small groups tutoring does work in certain situations where students are friends and prefer to learn together as they motivate and learn form each other especially in times of revision. My approach to tutoring will mostly depends on the individual's needs.
