I was born in Israel in 1986. I grew up in the outskirts of Tel- Aviv and lived in Tel-Aviv most of my adulthood. I've been teaching and lecturing for 15 years on different film movements and periods through early cinema to present day. I regularly analyse key film texts exploring all areas of film form and the aesthetical quality. I have a strong knowledge on the histrionics of film through intellectual engagement. My ability to teach practical filmmaking from production and post-production has driven my love for cinema. My passion is acting and hope to continue with a full BA course in it at some point in the future. As well as acting I also have a love for English as a subject and have become an avid writer over the course of the last few months. While it has been difficult with the limitations of Covid 19 I hope to be able to support learners who have an interest in these subjects or simply need help in order to meet their goals in them.

Teaching Experience:
My most recent teaching work has been in training as part of Activate learning at Reading college. These extensive online meetings have focused on equipping me with skills to deal with many different kinds of learners. Sessions on supportive learning, diversity, autism and other learning challenges have allowed me an excellent understanding of many learning styles. As a result I am very flexible in my approach to supporting learners and happy to work around what best works for them. For in person teaching I have experienced first hand experts in theatre and drama as part of my East 15 course. Working with members of staff in researching Shakespeare as well as many other famous literary figures.

Tutoring Approach:
I intent to provide an appropriate level of support for any learners needs. I am passionate about discussion and debate in the learning environment to engage learners in their journey. As well as this, I intend to work closely with understanding how to use the learners strengths best in an exam format. I understand personally the frustration of having the knowledge with the inability to format it in a way that the examiners want so have a wide variety of exercises to help with this. Going on from things previously mentioned I am happy to work with all learners no matter their challenges or abilities in these subjects.

Experienced secondary school teacher. Currently on maternity leave.

Teaching Experience:
I have taught in secondary schools for 7 years.

My expertise is in achieving band 9's, the highest awarded grade. However, I also pride myself in my ability to support and help students reach their own personal targets.

For dyslexic students I have created resources to support them in written exams, particularly in drama.

I have taught GCSE drama (edexcel exam board) for 6 years and GCSE sociology (aqa exam board for 2 years.

Many of my students have achieved band 9s in both of these subjects.

I trained as a drama teacher originally but extended my skills set to also be able to teach GCSE sociology.

I am also qualified to teach a level drama although I have not taught this in a few years.

Student led. I will adapt my teaching style to suit the students learning style.

Personal Description:
As well as being a full-time private tutor for nearly 15 years, I have a background in comedy, writing and performance. I've published three humour books and continue to write for theatre companies and private events. I also love art and illustration, and try incorporate this into my teaching where possible - for all ages! I currently live in South-West London with my husband and two young children.

Teaching Experience:
Since 2010 I have taught hundreds of students aged 3 to adult, including high-profile clients, international placements, EFL pupils & students with complex learning needs. I have also worked as an Assistant Course Director at Pilgrims Language School and a Shakespeare Expert at ICES University in France.

Tutoring Approach:
At the heart of my teaching is the firm belief that students should truly enjoy whatever they are learning. With this in mind, my chief aim is to create a comfortable and fun environment that inspires genuine engagement. My degree also involved the study of the psychology of education, which has given me a keen understanding of the unique requirements of each pupil. I have found my approach to consistently generate outstanding results!
