Teaching Experience:
I have been a classroom teacher of Computing Science since 2014 and have experience of teaching this subject at National 4, National 5 and Higher level. My preferred programming languages are Python and LiveCode but I have experience of marking Visual Basic as an SQA Marker.

Tutoring Approach:
I mainly offer online learning but can travel if manageable. I am available during weekday evenings or weekends.

Teaching Experience:
I have taught at some of the top independent schools in the country, including North London Collegiate School and Berkhamsted. With industry experience as a Software Engineer in various fintech companies, I am equipped to teach students at all levels, from secondary through to post-university, covering KS3 to A Level.

I'm a Euro-Brazilian freelance developer who has been learning about computers since getting his first PC 286 in 1990. From then on, he kept learning about programming languages, computer architecture, and computer science theory. Learning is my passion as well as teaching; this is the reason why I worked as a trainer and a books author. I'm is also the author of the book Swift Cookbook first edition, Swift 2 Blueprints and Reactive Swift Programming.

Teaching Experience:
Nowadays, I teach through online platforms, helping people from every part of the world. I develop a variety of computer languages, such as Swift, C++, Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, Python, C# for Unity and a few more in different environments (iOS, Android, Web, Mac OS X, Linux, Unity, and so on).
I've been tutoring since 1999 and I think I'll retire tutoring. 😊

* Head of Computing and ICT at school in County Durham. * Worked as 2nd in Department as Teacher of Computing at School in Durham where I taught for 9 years. *Specialise in Computer Science at GSCE OCR for both papers 1 and 2 as well as Python coding that will assist the students project and exam technique. *I also specialise at Computing at A Level OCR where I teach all the aspects of the paper one section of the course from Hardware, Software to the Mathematical side of Computing. * I am currently the lead mentor at my school for Computer Science trainee teachers where I aim to try and support the trainee as much as possible in the classroom to help them progress. * Currently exam mark for OCR at both GCSE and A Level. I have been tutoring for 3 years, since I completed my GCSE qualifications in 2023

Tutoring Approach:
My lessons are versatile and fun, all while maintaining the objective of the task at hand. I start by assessing the student's baseline knowledge, then scaffold based on that. I continue the lesson by challenging the student to a high grade level, and finish the lesson off by consolidating all the knowledge learnt in the lesson.
