Personal Description:
I am a fully qualified teacher with extensive experience teaching A-Level Mathematics and Physics in mainstream secondary schools. Over the past 10+ years, I have taught the full A-Level syllabus-including Core Mathematics, Mechanics, Statistics, and Further Pure Mathematics-within formal school settings, giving me deep insight into curriculum requirements, examination standards, and the specific challenges students face in tackling exam questions.

Track Record of Results
My students consistently achieve the best possible grades at GCSE and A-Level. Many have secured places at their preferred universities, while others have moved up two grade levels within a single term-some showing 50% improvement in performance in just one term. I have helped students across the ability range, from those in lower sets exploring their full potential to those achieving the highest marks across entire year groups. Students frequently report that subject material becomes significantly easier to follow once we work through it together, leading to greater confidence and stronger performance in their mainstream school classes.

Additional Expertise
Beyond A-Level and GCSE Mathematics and Physics, I also prepare students for:
11+ and Common Entrance exams (Mathematics, Comprehension, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, Writing)
7+ and 13+ entrance assessments

Personal Description:
In October 2014 I graduated from Imperial College London, where I spent 4 years studying for my Masters Degree in MSci Mathematics. I have a big passion for learning and this is a trait I want to be able to pass on to other children. Currently, I am working as an Analytic Consultant in Birmingham, which helps to demonstrate the strong analytical and communication skills that I possess.

Teaching Experience:
During Secondary School I ran a Maths Club once a week where I set problems and puzzles for all students. Furthermore, I was a Chess Coach teaching chess to primary school children and in Imperial College I held sessions with 1st Year students aiding their transition between school and university.

Thus, I have had experience teaching a wide range of ages and abilities, which will help me to adapt my approach based on the student.

Tutoring Approach:
As a tutor I aim to pass on my passion for Mathematics onto my students, developing their understanding and appreciation for the subject. In my opinion this is the best way to learn as ideas become easier to remember and concepts become quicker to grasp, which will transpose into better grades and examination performances.

Overall, I bring an enthusiastic and approachable atmosphere to my sessions, where students are not afraid to ask questions. This will enhance their learning experience and again improve exam results.
