I approach tutoring different ways depending on who the student is. I ask them questions about themselves, hobbies, favourite subjects etc; and then using that to better understand how they learn, I talk to them about their private learning and revision and the method of approach to that and to exams. And then I teach them using the method appropriate to their style of learning. I also set plenty of work and get them to do past papers which I send to them in the first week. I then take these away and mark them in my own time and return with a deeper view of where they are going wrong after they have been taught. During the first session I present a short questionnaire that I ask the student to fill in (honestly!) in order for me to assess their individual learning styles (right brain vs. left brain, use of visual stimuli etc), so that I can respond best to their needs. 2018-2019

KS 2 SATS - NJ had given up working in year 6. After my support he won a prize for writing and scored 113 and 117 in his English papers.

Scholarships - CA was a Grade 4 in History GCSE. He needed a grade 7 to obtain a scholarship. After my support CA gained his grade 7, got his scholarship and recently went on to gain a grade 9 in the actual GCSE securing his place at Rugby School.

GCSE- MS was at a good independent school and in top set. However, she was scoring at grade 2 in her English Language and English Literature mock exams. With my help MS went on to gain two level 7s for both her English GCSE exams.

Post Grads - S, A, I were all on a PGA at Warwick University. To get onto the MA course they needed to gain a distinction on their PGA assignments. With my support, all three transferred to the MA course.

ZN wanted to do as well as possible in his MA assignments but was struggling with Academic English. With my help he scored merits for his essays and dissertation.

N J-- NJ went from a Level 3 in school mock exams to achieving a Level 7 in the actual GCSE exams despite being dyslexic.

As a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), I bring 22 years of extensive experience in the development sector, working effectively with public, private, and international organisations across multiple countries. In the United Kingdom, I worked with the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire, North Yorkshire Council, Documentary Production, and Members of Parliament's offices, as well as roles in the private sector.

Teaching Experience:
I am a native Arabic speaker and an accomplished Arabic instructor with a strong focus on achieving student objectives. Currently, I engage in part-time teaching and training.
I possess over 15 years of experience in delivering lessons that are tailored to the interests and needs of students and clients. I am knowledgeable in standard instructional principles and modern methodologies for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, including individuals from English, Turkish, Indian, Italian, and German backgrounds. The need to acquire advanced knowledge in business administration drove me to start a Doctorate in Business Administration, after obtaining an MBA and a 1st class management degree.

Having worked in varied industries like information technology and real estate, I am now using my knowledge in business and management studies for the improvement of students.

I am a conscientious individual with a high emotional intelligence and an appreciation for cultural diversity, having studied and worked internationally.

Teaching Experience:
I teach GSCE business studies and economics as well as modules within business management such as marketing, financial management, accounting, HR, leadership, business strategy, for undergraduate, diploma, BTEC and adult education.

I am a businessman who teaches. Employed in the Media industry I have worked for some of the largest national Newspapers and Magazines in the UK. Launched my own media business and operated it successfully for many years before concentrating fully on y Teaching work.

Worked for a wide variety of colleges and universities. In London I worked on the Global Business Module at University of Westminster and Regents University London. At LSST I delivered their Diploma in Business Studies course. At Uni West I was one of their A1 Assessors for the Harrow area. In the Bournemouth region I have worked at St Peters School, Southbourne teaching Y 11 and Y 12 their BTEC National Business Studies course . At Parkstone Grammer I worked with GCSE Y 9 and 10 delivering their Business Studies and Economics courses.

Tutoring Approach:
I apply the same principle to my teaching as when I ran my own business. Everything is results driven and I am hoping to make better business people out of my students who happen to pass their exams en route. There are few business problems I have not come across in my career and this allows me to show the real life application of the various busness theories.

I am an enthusiastic Head of Department at an outstanding school in Berkshire. I teach both GCSE and A level Business and Economics. I have experience in a range of different exam boards. I graduated from the University of Bath with a 2.1 in Economics and Politics and have a decade of real world experience having worked as a management consultant and senior marketing roles in the healthcare and lifesciences industry. I am also a proud mum to my son, keen yoga practitioner and love to travel.

I have 8 years of teaching experience. I have supported students with dyslexia and other learning needs improve their written work and improve the accuracy and understanding of technical and diagrammatic analysis in Economics

Tutoring Approach:
My approach is to identify the students need whether that's understanding the content fully or being able to apply their knowledge to exam questions. Or indeed whether the student needs to practise structuring their writing to more clearly align with the mark schemes from the examiner. In addition some students need support organising themselves and planning their revision. I believe it should complement and enhance their school work in a positive way. Ideally students should use the sessions to enable them to become more independent in their learning rather than tutoring for perpetuity.

I am PhD student at Harper Adams University, working on my final stages on my thesis. While I always enjoyed sharing my knowledge, I found lot of satisfaction from my students and there successes. It is really refreshing to work with young students, and that's why I am engaged in private tuition.

Also, I am Greek, but I am living and working 5 years in UK. I try to learn German, and I love DYI projects and crafts.
