I ask them questions about themselves, hobbies, favourite subjects etc; and then using that to better understand how they learn, I talk to them about their private learning and revision and the method of approach to that and to exams. And then I teach them using the method appropriate to their style of learning. I also set plenty of work and get them to do past papers which I send to them in the first week. I then take these away and mark them in my own time and return with a deeper view of where they are going wrong after they have been taught. I do 2hr concentrated sessions either weekly or fornightly and have seen great results not only in grades but also in enthusiasm for learning. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant, working as a financial accountant at a large property and casualty insurer in the City of London. I aim to provide a solid grounding in the subject while paying close attention to the needs of the individual. An initial meeting establishes the student's needs and the direction tuition should take. We then begin work on a programme of study which focuses on filling gaps in knowledge and addressing any areas of weakness in some cases we conduct a diagnostic test .
I set regular mile stones/homework and assignments - the quantity varying with how much time the student has - and give feedback the following session.

Tuition generally runs as an independent course running parallel to and complementing what the student is doing at college or university. My teaching style is primarily student centred, and I adapt my teaching style in order to cater for everyone and make the material as interesting as possible.
I like to use different books, exercises, colorful PowerPoint slides and even videos where possible to demonstrate my learning points. I believe this is something which increases student interest significantly, and from my experience, leads to a better learning experience overall.
I am highly effective at behavioural management, and focus on the three R's of RESPECT, RESPONSE and the RIGHT way to learn. These have served me well over time.
Finally, I have an approachable, inclusive style of teaching that is sufficiently flexible enough to cater for a diverse range of learning styles, needs and requirements.

Teaching Experience:
Since I'm a University student, I prefer conducting online classes the most where it can suit my lecture/tutorial schedule the best ! I'm a very bubbly and cheerful person, so studying won't all just be books and papers, chit chats will be coming in the full package as well ! I've tutored kids between the age of 5-10 before for English so I believe my patience level is well equipped as one the top qualities I have as a teacher ! You definitely won't be studying alone on your learning journey with me !


Just remember, being 'gifted' or not doesn't matter ! Studies all honestly revolve around your effort and originality to it ! If 'gifted' people can memorize/learn content easily on their second try, I'll just do it on my fifth try then. Resilience and uniqueness are the key of honing yourself from an academic victim to an academic weapon, no matter the age, place, subject or even difficulty of it !
