Personal Description:
I am an academic, writer & managing partner of a consulting firm. Having worked in education my entire life, I love to see students reach their potential. I know that students can find lots of different aspect of study challenging, and that no two students are the same, so I differentiate my style to the needs of each different student that I work with. I specialise in business, management & leadership focused subjects but I have also lectured across sports faculties for many years, too (my PhD focused on a sports management concept). Additionally, I have supervised many, many dissertations, which is a really rewarding process! If you are looking for dissertation support, I can really help you.
Outside of a classroom, I am the author of six textbooks (business & finance, politics), all published by Routledge - 'Leadership: Performance Beyond Expectations', 'Leadership: A Critical Introduction', 'Emotional & Irrational Investing', 'Charismatic Leadership: The Role of Charisma in the Global Financial Crisis', 'Evolution, Politics & Charisma' and 'Post-Truth Politics: A Brave New World?
I currently lecture on an executive MBA programme for a leading European institution, alongside co-managing a consulting company. I am also a Research Officer for British Mensa and my research interests focus on high-intelligence related concepts and toxic leadership systems.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught for many years in both sports and business faculties, from A level to undergraduate, pre-Masters, Masters, MBA and PhD level. I have also presented at a number of European and international academic conferences. I hold a PGCHE (Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching in Higher Education) and am now an executive MBA lecturer and research fellow.
Tutoring Approach:
My teaching specialisations fall into three broad categories:

- sport studies
I believe in encouraging a passion for learning in my students and feel that there is always a way of helping students connect personally with a subject.
