A big part of my inspiration comes from the natural surroundings and through my travels. The main topic that I approach it is landscape, in all moods and mysteries. I am a professional Theatre Stage and Costume Designer (M.F.A. graduated in 2004), and I have worked in many theatre productions in UK and abroad, as a stage, set and costume designer as well as a puppet maker. A teacher with a degree in Photographic arts. Passionate and knowledgeable about digital and analogue photography, with the ability to teach post-production editing in Photoshop. Each task is checked for quality and completion before we move on to the next task. I provide direction in terms of research and references to inspire the student, based on their chosen themes, as well as examples and tutorials on using a range of materials and techniques. At the end of each session I communicate with the parent/carer and give them a clear report on what progress has been made and what tasks I have set to be completed for our next session.

It is important to understand that my role can only be to guide and demonstrate and not complete the work for the student, as this work would not be allowed in the student's GCSE/A-Level portfolio.

I am also a Dissertation Supervisor for Final Year students at Camberwell on their BA Programme. The materials I use in my art sessions varies from normal stationery, paper, air dry clay and fabric and the projects I have done with my students are Abstract art, paper and fabric collage, air dry clay sculpturing and lots of other miscellaneous, random recycled stuff.

I have volunteered as an art tutor for Mental well-being charity organisation. I learned to understand the problems faced by people experiencing mental health difficulties and how art based activities could help and support them in improving their conditions. With this experience now I am able to design and draft lesson plans for art based activities and workshops. I also have experience working with young people at a Primary School.

Teaching Experience:
Armley Park Primary School where I secured a lunch time assistant job. Here I earned the most valuable bit for my community experience working with children. My work at school was nothing to do with studied or lesson my involvement with children was when it was play time and lunch time. I could estimate a child's potential and allotted them some games. The best part was we could create any silly game and customised our own rules. In the dinning hall I helped the tiny new comers settle down and eat their lunch.

I believe that teaching is an art. Everyone has the potential to learn, regardless of mental hindrances. In my view, the role of a teacher is to understand both the limitations and strengths of each pupil and tailor a unique course accordingly.
The most essential requirement for a pupil is passion and the willingness to learn; the rest is the teacher's responsibility.
I started teaching Spanish as a means of earning a living when I first came to the UK in 1973. Ever since then, it has always been a source of income. I am a professional painter, but selling paintings is not a reliable form of income. I have excellent references from former students that I can provide on request.
