Personal Description:
I'm a professional artist specialising in figurative oil painting and portraiture.
Teaching Experience:
I am a very experienced tutor, having taught independently since 2005. For several years alongside this I ran drawing and painting classes for adult learners in an adult education college. I also worked for about 12 years in a tutoring centre, helping children as a trained phonics & reading tutor.
I have a proven track record of helping children develop their skills with fun lessons, coaching GCSE & A Level students to better grades and helping adults become fully fledged oil painters in their own right.
Tutoring Approach:
As a passionate artist, I take great pleasure in helping others develop as artists.
I take a thorough step-by-step approach to the lessons I provide and endeavour to give my students a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in order to build the needed confidence with which to create their own art work and take it to an entirely new level.
