I believe dont go for per hour price just look towards quality of education not quantity and result will be in your hand.
My tutoring approach will depend on the students learning ability, I can differentiate the student according to different range of ability and then work according to that.
I believe that tutoring should in most cases supplement the teaching that is received at school. I will focus on any difficulties that the student is facing and also concentrate on answering exam questions - especially answering techniques. If the student requires more extensive teaching of the syllabus then I will happy to go through this in further detail.
I honestly believe that a Teacher hasn't taught until the student has learnt.

I am a Marine Biologist (PhD) and lecturer in Education. I have studied PGCE Mandarin at a university in the Uk and obtained a qualified teacher certificate. I am teaching Mandarin at a school in the south of England. All of my students like my teaching because not only can they learn mandarin listening, speaking, reading and writing, but they also enjoy learning about the different Chinese cultures as well as taking part in many activities at the same time. All of my GCSE year students have achieved A* grade GCSE Mandarin. I am a mandarin native speaker and I used to be a compere on the stage in China. I grew up in Peru and lived in the USA and UK before moving to Brazil for 10 years and Bolivia for 2 years before returning to England (Taunton and London). Mike my retired-vicar husband also worked in Africa and served as advisor at The Royal Institute of International Affairs.We have four grown-up children, each born in a different country, and as a family we all share a fascination with different cultures, religious beliefs and ethnic groups. I am a Maths and Physics teacher and have been for nearly 40 years in both secondary and further education. Both Maths and Physics require development of skills that constantly need practice. When it is close to tests or exams I will focus on exam questions so that tutees are aware of the standard required for the grade they are aiming to achieve.
