Personal Description:

I am a dedicated, hardworking Year 12 student studying Economics, Business, and Psychology. Beyond my studies, I actively contribute to my school and local community through volunteering at open evenings and charity shops, which has helped me build strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. I am passionate about helping Key Stage 3 and GCSE students build confidence and achieve their target grades.

Teaching Experience:

As a current Year 12 A-Level student, I bring fresh, up-to-date knowledge of the KS3 and GCSE curriculum. I have strong experience supporting peers by breaking down complex ideas into manageable, easy-to-understand parts, whenever i need to explain something again to them if they ask for my help. Through my voluntary work as a school open evening tour guide and charity shop work I have built clear communication skills, confidence in speaking with new people, and the patience needed to support learners of all levels. Having recently achieved strong GCSE results, I know exactly what exam techniques and key terms examiners look for, therefore having many communication and creative skills is very important as that is key in teaching for me.

My Teaching Style:

Patient & Adaptable: I never rush through topics. If a student struggles to understand a concept, I slow down and explain it slowly regardless if i spend more lesson time explaining then doing more content as at the end of the day understanding is better then rushing through content.

Clear Explanations & Key Terms: I specialize in breaking down difficult subject content into plain English, using real-world examples of anything the student knows or recognises better then this subject topic so they really get it into their long term memory as this helps me revise very well to get my top grades

Exam Technique & Confidence: I focus heavily on how to answer exam questions properly by wanting to do some sort of questions every lesson to make sure I know where each student is at. highlighting command words and mark scheme ideas is very key when marking and this is one thing i will do myself a lot.

• 8 in GCSE edexcel business
• 8 in GCSE AQA religious studies
• 6-5 in GCSE AQA combined science
