Once completing my masters degree I worked in industry for 3 years doing blue sky research for BAE SYSTEMS. I decided that, whilst the intellectual rewards were great, I wanted to work more closely with people which prompted my move into teaching.

When I came to the UK twenty five years ago, I didn't speak a single word of English. Pronunciation is corrected so you can be understood clearly by native speakers.
