I have taught to all levels from reception class at primary school through to secondary school, sixth form college and university level.
I am able to offer authentic French whilst still appreciating the difficulties from an English speaker's point of view. I am also qualified to teach Spanish to all levels and have years of experience in teaching the language.
I have a friendly approach and my lessons are very well organised with a sense of purpose. They are also individually tailored to meet the student's specific needs. I have worked as a GCSE examiner on numerous occasions and have coached and taught AS/A level groups.

I have a lot of experience in teaching modern languages to all ages of children and adults. I have taught in UK high schools and primary schools, I have worked for Le Club Francais (an after school French club), I have taught adults in evening classes and most recently I have taught individuals and small groups of children offering them fun French lessons and GCSE tuition. I am a freelance software developer and professional trainer who also provides one-to-one personal tuition services in computing, programming and IT related subjects. I took my first steps in programming as long ago as 1981, and have been a professional software developer since 1987. Along with the teaching and training side of my career, I develop software and web-sites for my clients, and I have been published several times in respected programming-journals.

I am also a BBC preferred-supplier, and am a professional life-member of the Association for Computing Machinery (founded in 1947 - the world's largest and most prestigious scientific and educational computing society). I have also published a book on the technicalities of e-book production.

The topics and languages I cover are: C/C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL (MySQL in particular), Regular Expressions, HTML/CSS, Python, VB and assembly language, along with software design, implementation and development principles (what many people call Object Orientation and Software Engineering), and web site design and implementation.

I have provided private-tuition services since 1992, and was a lecturer at Roehampton University from September 1998 to October 1999. I have provided professional training services since 1999, during which time I have delivered over 110 professional courses in programming and software design and development, for companies in the aircraft industry, computer gaming, banking, web development and the BBC.

I have been teaching Latin, Greek, and Classical Civilisation since 1992. I currently teach at a Central London college and am an examiner in Latin and History for both OCR and Cambridge International A-Level. I hold a BA from the University of York and a PhD from Middlesex University.

I am the author of over forty books and a respected senior member of staff at my institution. My work spans school-level teaching, university-level instruction, and public writing on classical and educational topics.

I work as a Senior Software Developer. I have done M.Sc. in Web Technologies from the University Of Southampton, with distinction. My Second master degree is in Computer Applications, with distinctions. I have published one academic paper so far. Recently I have completed management certification from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

I have the diverse skillset. That ranges from Computer science to the core web development. I have a full stack programming experience which includes - PHP, JAVA, hybrid mobile app development, web services, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, etc.) And, databases like MySQL.

Teaching Experience:
Recently I have finished teaching JAVA and Hybrid Mobile App development.

As a part of my work, I mentor and teach new Joinees.

I am a volunteer teacher at Code Club, where I am teaching how to code to the kids.

My name is Toby, I am 19 and have just come back from a year abroad in France. I currently work as a lifeguard and musician and am heading to Reading University to study french and business in september. I am a fluent french speaker who is fresh from learning the language to fluency, so am very much in touch with the language-learning process from a student's point of view - I know exactly where the hudrles lie and how to overcome them.

Teaching Experience:
I studied french up to A Level and took a year out in France, working as an Au Pair to the Marquis de Biliotti family at the Château d'Anjou in Lyon. I was in the highest class level at my Lyon university (C1/C2 class) and learned the language fluently. I have experience teaching English to children in France, and have worked as a telephone translator and PA translator.

Tutoring Approach:
I am flexible with my sessions; I can work on specific topics with which the pupil struggles, grammar, pronunciation and phonetics, vocab etc as well as approaches to language learning; analysing areas for the pupil to work on and giving resources, apps, videos and advice to help further their independent learning.
