Hi, my name's Chris and I provide a guitar tuition service in and around Worcester. I offer both acoustic and electric guitar lessons for beginner and intermediate students of all ages. I teach a variety of styles and can tailor lessons to your own musical interests so that you're not only learning the music you love, but developing other essential skills in a relevant musical context.

I have 12 years experience playing guitar and hold a joint-honours degree in music.

Tutoring Approach:
In addition to teaching you how to play the guitar, I can offer expertise in other areas of music. Having spent three years studying music at university, and being a writer myself, I can assist you with your own compositions, arrangements and songs. Likewise I can help with the sometimes precarious art of accompanying yourself as a singer! I am 69 years old and retired from full time teaching in August 2014 after a teaching career of some 23 years. Since retiring I have done some part time teaching and private tuition. I taught at Stockport College for 11 years retired from Oldham Sixth Form College in 2014 after almost 13 years there. I have taught a broad range of maths courses during that time and was course leader for level 2 maths at O.S.F.C. for 8 years before retirement. I have taught G.C.S.E maths for many years and have considerable experience teaching C1, C2 C3, C4 S1, S2 and D1 as part of A' level mathematics. My introduction to tutoring came through successfully helping my sons through their A-levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics.
