We have about 50 students in each of years 12 and 13. 26 of our Physics students gained grade As at AS Level in 2006. 48% A and A* at A2 Level in June 2011. This is twice the Welsh average which puts us at the top of tree. 67% A*,A or B in 2012 in my class.Three of my students have won the Institute of Physics prize for the highest A Level marks in Wales with several gaining 600/600. I have a PGCE and I became CELTA qualified, graded Outstanding in all areas, in 2014. I also have an Understanding Dyslexia qualification from London South Bank University. This is a particular area of interest to me and I have taught many dyslexic students who have successfully achieved their qualifications. I teach a wide range of exam syllabuses which include: AQA, Cambridge, Edexcel, WJEC and OCR.

Tutoring Approach:
I really enjoy what I do and I aim to build confidence and study skills, alongside qualifications. I always assess a student's skills and identify areas of strength, as well as key areas for development.

I teach Tuesdays to Thursdays, and Saturdays during term time. I can offer tuition sessions of one, two or three hours on a regular basis.

I hold a BA in English from The University of Liverpool and an MA also in English Literature.

Teaching Experience:
I have taught English for 9 years now across a number of schools in Merseyside and London. I currently work as a Lead Practitioner of English and Lead for Key Stage 4, though I have also previously led in my school on Key Stage 5 English Literature also.

I have also marked extensively at GCSE and A Level for the AQA exam board - so I know what students need to do to achieve marks - and have had a lot of success previously with predicting exam questions for GCSE Literature.

My particular specialisms are GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature and A Level English Literature, particularly within the AQA specifications. I can be particularly of help also with the following set texts: Macbeth, Romeo
